Here are our top tips on hosting your own watch party at home. 🥳
How to host your own watch party:

Invite your friends: Tell your nearest and dearest book-lovers that you'll be hosting a watch party, and share the time and place.

Set up the space: Get YouTube at the ready and arrange your seating – sofas, armchairs, floor cushions, beanbags, boxes or whatever you have – so everyone will be able to see the screen.

Plan the menu: Serve snacks and drinks – themed to the shortlisted books, if you're feeling extra – or organise a pot-luck so everyone's well-fed ahead of the announcement.

Add entertainment: Get hyped as the announcement approaches by rewatching our shortlist films, hosting a round of Booker Prize 2026 trivia, a winner sweepstake or any other merriment you can think of.

Tune into the livestream: Watch live on the Booker Prizes YouTube channel and join the discussion on any of our social channels.
