So, if I may take this space for some author grumbling; problems that I am faced with: 1: Reaching the US market, serious issues getting books into Amazon US. 2: The E-book is now, stuck waiting response on it's release and I've no idea how to chase the ticket. So many people cannot buy the book😵

010

The Binary Butteryfly @thebinarybutterfly.online · 22/09/2026

@theamazingkimmoth.bsky.social So you post summaries of books eyh? Well, how fortunate for you that I have a book that is in need of a one-line-summary opinion that other people might see... Could I interest you in The Binary Butterfly?

110

The Binary Butteryfly @thebinarybutterfly.online · 22/09/2026

Yup... Waiting on a response now to my ticket for the e-book having 'gotten stuck'. It seems that no version of my book wants to go willingly out in to the public... *sigh*

000

The Binary Butteryfly @thebinarybutterfly.online · 20/09/2026

Well, it looks like I raised the ire of 'sods law' - the e-book submission is 'stuck' How does a digital submission... get stuck... ? I'm left waiting on customer service ticket replies so I'd advise no holding you're breath if waiting on this release date.

001

The Binary Butteryfly @thebinarybutterfly.online · 18/09/2026

Ooohhh someone's reading it! 🤩 Delightfully exciting. #DebutAuthor And let's hope that tomorro's release of the e-book version goes well 🤞

If there any any folk out there that enjoy the Netflix series: 'Person of Interest' I will recommend my book as- what happens after. There are some surprisingly similar themes raised, and the show plays out almost like a prelude to what's in my book: The Binary Butterfly.

I’ve now lived so much longer than I would ever have expected to that I feel I’m living in the future. This is when I imagined Neuromancer happening. And now the creators of today’s AI warn us that it threatens humanity.

Unrelated to anything: recently something I'd written was compared positively to being akin to the work of Douglas Adams. And, honestly, I'm a little chuffed about it. ☺️ Awkwardly, the tone of The Binary Butterfly is very different. But it was nice to get compliments about something.

Unless another series of catastrophes hits me, the book will be releasing to digital platforms on or just after the 19th. That's just 9 days from now! Plenty of time to buy a paperback & read it before then... bit.ly/BinaryButter... #IndieAuthor #Debut #Booksky

I can't believe that my only recently released and still largely unknown book was not on this 'list of greatest cyberpunk books' : www.cbr.com/best-cyberpu... I bet they didn't even read it!

I really should be trying to hijack the #Neuromancer hashtag cyberpunk vibes to try and extend my audience. The original story, by @greatdismal.bsky.social was a massive influence on my own book (as well as the world of cyberpunk that Mike Pondsmith gave us) Take a look: bit.ly/BinaryButter...

I hope that my writing style does NOT become recognised... My name does not lend well to being an eponymous adjective. Peallian? Peally? Pealleqsue? Anyway, please buy my book. Then you can decide what my writing feels like or how it should be referred to.

a text snip that reads:
Gibsonian - fine, regal even.
Orwellian - sounds grand.
Lovecraftian - this just SOUNDS like the writing!

Very happily - I've been allowed to promote my book to the GURPS community. As the story was born out of an role-playing game using the GURPS rules, this feels like a full circle moment! I hope there are a few fellow GURPS enthusiasts that will enjoy the book! #TheBinaryButterfly

Who's excited for Neuromancer as a series!? Okay- that's cool & all, but would ya like a book that's sort of based on/around the same cyberpunk themes, but that is not written by @greatdismal.bsky.social ? But instead written by some internet rando? Boy are you lucky today: bit.ly/BinaryButter...

The Binary Butterfly began as notes and rough ideas scattered in excel & .txt files. Then, once I was done with the game from which the story was born, it existed only as recalled moments, ephemeral memories; then a series of terrible drafts. Finally, over the course of years, revisions to a book.
