This Quebec-born painter was encouraged from an early age to fan her artistic spark, first through pencils and watercolours before moving onto acrylics and eventually oil. She counts various North American masters as influences, drawing from them to develop a vibrant style of her own that plays with light, colour and movement.

From her ‘Kitchen’ series comes this dazzling work dedicated to your hard-working neighborhood bartender. Everybody’s got a favourite pub, a safe space to celebrate the good times and mourn the bad ones. On those occasions, your local mixologist suddenly becomes your best friend, someone you can count on to recommend the perfect drink to meet the moment. One night, that drink might take the form of Henrick’s Gin, a delightfully peculiar Scottish blend infused with rose and cucumber. But tonight, our bartender suggests a stiff belt of Four Walls Whiskey, a blend of smooth, triple-distilled Irish whiskeys mixed with a hint of American rye. Whatever’s ailing you, the best solution is always to “stuff it down with brown”.
