I have listened to this podcast in its entirety probably 6 times going back to 2018, and everytime I found myself moved to anger, tears, astonishment with each episode. The journalist effort of this podcast is among the best I have ever seen, heard, read.

To be fair, he wasn't a rich entitled frat boy type. He legitimately came from a middle-class background, Hillbilly Elegy notwithstanding. He worked/and GI Bill (after serving in military)his way thru Ohio State in 3 years, and then of course Yale Law School. He didn't become a 1st class prick 1/

I agree. The findings of the lower courts proved conclusively that trump's actions met the legal threshold of insurrection. That said, why did the liberal justices vote to keep him on the ballot? Perhaps to not create easy precedent for conservative states to keep a Democrat off in the future?
