selfish reasons to use alt text: - use SEO terms that to be picked up in the alt text *as a natural part* of effective image description - show off writing/communication skills in alt text - point out image/art details that might otherwise be missed - greater peace of mind on #accessibility 🥰💜.

🚨 It’s not too late to take ACTION. Last week, the house passed H.R. 845, a bill that would strip protections for gray wolves and block the public from challenging it in court. It now heads to the Senate. Call your Senators and urge them to vote NO: www.senate.gov/senators/senators-contact.htm

I don't like how "plural" keeps being used less and less inclusively, even though it was specifically made to be an all inclusive term

Bluesky is a wonderful place that has flourished in large part because of its artists and intolerance towards facists/Nazis. The Updated policy currently going into effect Oct 15 could fuck that up and we should be very vocal about it. Here are some specific things to mention in feedback (THREAD)

Hey, I made a really stupid sticker for your BDSM art in 'honour' of #bskycensorship war week. Graphic design is not my passion, so feel free to slap this goofy thing on your painplay, shibari and whatever if you want to give a🖕to T&S, I don't care because I'm not a fucking cop.

DO NOT participate in #blueskyblackout2025 I'm nsfw artist and other nsfw artists are asking you to SHOUT! Bsky wants to censor us so the worst thing we can do is censor ourselves! Publicly shame them, use the feedback button, and post about it using the tag #bskycensorship Silence is compliance!

Kinda randomly posting this, but... unpopular opinion/headcanon- Jax from TADC could be transmasc. His original design was a girl, plus in a way, I could resonate with the way he reacted to being forced into the maid dress (though anybody would react that way, I'm sure). Plus it just...feels right

💻 I'd say something like "endogenic systems aren't doing any harm, and we shouldn't be treating people so aggressively over what they say they're experiencing" and someone will act like I just said immigrants shouldn't be allowed in the country.

If I was the main character, I would be unanimously detested. But if I was a side character, I would be everybody's favorite, and they'd be mad I didn't have more screentime and would write a bunch of fanfics about me Anyone else feel this?
