And on the personal end I have been redesigning characters, and illustrating my first comic that I will post called "The Lost Boy", I still have 3 more pages and a cover illustration to go. I am really enjoying the process and plan to get the thumbnails refined into sketches today!

very rough and sketchy redesign and Cira, I know I made a whole sheet already for her but that was mostly just a learning opportunity rather than anything with finality, main goal with the redesign is have some more visual clarity with the bird features, make her look more like the inspiration of the bearded vulture, and make the hair look way more like feathers or wings. I have also redesigned the body but it stays mostly the same to the original with changes in proportions and colors.

Here are some sketches I made for the thumbnail and ultimately the thumbnail in its current state that I made for the video! I am no cartoon artist but I tried my best to color and make this thing that is so outside of my normal comfort zone.

In terms of personal projects I have been up to, my friends and I have started a youtube channel. We got a cartoonist, a writer, a voice actor, and myself(comic artist). We post our first video on Thursday and it is a simple gameplay video of Little Big Planet 3, the name will be Moar Haus!

I have been doing studies every day for a month now. Focusing on light, perspective, anatomy, and clothing. I feel like my skills as an artist are growing😀👍. Here is a collection of screenshots of all the studies I have done ranging from 15 minute studies to 30 second studies.
