"Alpha" only makes sense when you lack community

The world of "alpha", "beta", "theta" men and their associated mindsets around dating and women mostly originate with a misunderstanding of wolf culture, of all things.
If a wolf has no community, the "alpha" description by modern men is accurate.
When wolves have appropriate community, since they are *communal* animals, their behavior changes. The alpha makes sure the weakest and oldest are protected and fed.
Modern men are the same.
When they have no community and are heavily traumatized, the more they act like a traditional "alpha".
When they have healthy community... Because men are also a part of a communal species (humans, if the rumors are to be believed), they *take care of people*
If a man is claiming to be an alpha and not feeding people or protecting the elderly or those who are less able or capable than him, it's trauma and dysfunction.

The one day boycott is something, but it's not going to have a lasting impact on these companies. Most people will just make purchases the day before or the day after. Companies don't track single day sales, they track them over the quarter. Do what you can. Here are some ideas to do more.

Boycott for as long as you can. One day doesn't mean anything. Delete retail apps, unsubscribe from emails, leave site reviews saying why you aren't purchasing products, fill carts and abandon them, buy only essentials and seek local places to purchase your items.
