I always believe in modeling the behavior we want to see. Rune is right. We can talk ourselves blue, but at the end of the day, if those screaming for change don't make that first step, then who else will ever be encouraged to make change? Activism...it is right there in the name; ACT.

I feel like this every day. I always hope humanity will right the wrongs it is doing by putting Nature first. But with 8+ billion people on this planet, how many will it take to right the wrongs? How many are willing to make the sacrifices it takes to save this planet? ⬇️

those warning signs are still there. We can't fantasize our way out of it. We can't talk our way out of it. The time for pontification is over. We need real conversation with real plans and those plans have to be acted upon. Otherwise, I find we will just "talk" ourselves to a literal death.

We have to be gentle with each other, and fierce toward the powers that would cage us into pitiful lives where we only work to survive for them. We can heal the earth, and in that respect, heal ourselves. But we have to be willing to make needed sacrifices, push against the current status quo, ⬇️

There is so much we can do as a species to insert ourselves back into the natural ecosystems, to help the earth heal, and to be better without the lies and misinformation fed to us by the entities that claim power over us. We can free ourselves of those chains, but we have to be brave. ⬇️

We all came from Nature's womb. She taught us, fed us, encouraged us to walk with her. But soon we parted the path, believing we could find an easier way. Now our lives are a constant suffering. Nature keeps walking the path, however, and will not wait. We either catch back up to her, or perish.
