WHATS UP GUYS Did you really think that I abandoned What We Do Behind The Scenes? Oh, no, no, no. I'm gonna pull through. Even though the next chapter will come almost a whole year after the last one. Life got in the way. #ao3 #caprisky #captiveprince

I just found out that there is an entire subreddit dedicated to finding deleted fanfics - and as it turns out, someone has been saving and sharing my deleted Inuyasha fics on Google Drive.

I have been trying to write. Really. I have tried to work on my fics, on my original stories, everything. But sometimes, everything just gets to much, and I am reminded of the fact that austistic exhaustion manifests in the ugliest of ways. Migraines, tinnitus, sleepless nights, crying.

I'm not the biggest fan of children and I don't think I want any of my own. But today I received mail and a drawing from the child I'm sponsoring in Myanmar and oh god it's so cute I wish her only the best and that all of her dreams come true

A little excerpt from something else I'm writing. I don't know where I'm going with this, but it's a lot of fun. (and yes I am working on the next chapter of What We Do Behind the Scenes, too). #caprisky #captiveprince #ao3

I do love my job, but the one thing I absolutely loathe is having to work on Sundays every now and then. Yes it may be every 6-8 weeks only but still, it just ruins two whole weeks for me 😭

Chapter 6 of "From What I Tasted of Desire", my #CaptivePrince / ATLA AU is *finally* finished! Laurent is going through it, Damen is having a crisis, and Nikandros is not getting paid enough. So, what else is new.

I have not been writing much lately, mainly due to extra tasks at work and being in the process of moving into a new apartment - but I really hope I can finally get some writing done over Easter, and perhaps fucking finally post a new chapter.

I've been clearing out my old apartment today once more and the thought of leaving it for good is so bittersweet. On the one hand it's what I've always wanted, namely leaving the place behind since I never really liked it. But I also wish I could have found a job in my uni town. I miss it so much.

The older I get, the more annoying most social media is to me. In the past few weeks alone I have deactivated both Twitter and Threads and my mental health has SKYROCKETED. Everyone is so aggressive there. I hope this won't happen to Bluesky or, worse, tumblr.

Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but: charging 40€ for a day ticket to Comic Con Germany is way too expensive. Even more so when half of the convention consists of Star Wars and the other half is made of stalls that sell overpriced shit that is clearly nothing special. I left after two hours.

Fellow fic writers, how do you handle this situation? I've received a comment on a fic that is apparently meant as "constructive criticism" and reads as if I had hired them as a personal editor, incl. change suggestions. As an actual editor myself, I am baffled that they think this is okay.

So, in my spare time, I read books. And of these books, I sometimes do literature reviews in either English or German, depending on the language the book is written in. So. Here it is. My latest review, in German, of the new book of one of my all-time favourite comedians/writers.

I really love The Sims. I really do. But each update/patch does not fix the game but fucks it up further. I've had to abandon so many save files because the updates destroyed or corrupted them. What kind of product management is this? What kind of customer service? I'm so fucking fed up with EA.
