Funerary looks. Just an update (death in the family).

Bearded Black man, wearing a dark blue suit jacket, dark blue button shirt and navy blue tie. He has a solemn face.

I’m uglier than sin, but that photo make her look like Renee Zellweger’s mother. Renee is actually old enough to be Kkkaroline’s mother.

Orson was probably bi, Raymond was actually gay: you might have gotten your wish.

I have to wait to read this as I have another book that I want to delve into first. But this is now second in the queue.

Thongsgiving is next week in Canada, but there’s plenty to be thankful for a week early. 🙌🏽

After the gym you might need a massage to work away any soreness. Or stiffness. 😊

I have the first book of the set, and another book from the same universe. I enjoyed them both. A lot. He has a ko-fi page, so have a looksee. 😊

Feicigí! Tháinig an leabhar! It’s so pretty! 😍 The newest book by @glennquigley.bsky.social , “Song of the Wren”.

The hand of a Black man holds a softbound book.

Book cover: two shirtless men are shown from the chest up. One to fore has a shaved head, a dark russet beard and green eyes; he has tattoos around his shoulders and chest. He has a serious look to his face. The other aft has short chocolate brown hair and beard, rosy cheeks and brown eyes; his chest hair is very noticeable and matches his hair. Behind them is sigil in gold, displaying two levels in a ring: the outer ring shows Western zodiac symbols, while the inner ring shows the corresponding constellation. The background is a darker Kelly green.

Book title: “Song Of The Wren”
Author: Irish LGBTQ+ author Glenn Quigley

(Sequel to “Heart of the Wren” and associated book of “The Curse of the Stag’s Eye”.)

A TV movie called “This House Possessed”. Was one of those “too young to truly watch” things.

Can a goy, pint-sized redhead first grade teacher and ball of sunshine find commonality (and love) with a Jewish, large ex-Army vet now grumpy school custodian? This was a delightful grumpy/sunshine romance dealing with love, rejection, twins (!) and PTSD. Second in MA Wardell’s series.

Bearded Black man: he wears a very light lilac shirt and smiles as he holds a softbound book with one hand and near his face. He is before a wall with a landscape lithograph behind him.

Book cover: two White men sit next to each other. The man on the left: he is blond with tight curls, wearing a green work jumpsuit and brown boots. He sits on a wooden stool. He is on a larger build. The man on right: he is a redhead with short and straight hair fuller at the top, wearing a butter yellow button shirt and peach trousers cuffed at the mid shin as his gold hi-tops and matching socks are visible. He sits on a large wooden dreidel with the Hebrew letter “gimel” showing (meaning “gadol”, lit. “great” but signifying “the whole pot of gelt” in the Hanukkah dreidel game). Behind them is a green chalkboard with cursive letters of the alphabet shown. Between them is a sprig of red mistletoe. The wall is green and the floor red. The cover is an illustration.

Book title: “Mistletoe and Mishigas”
Book author: gay author M A Wardell
Book series: “Teacher of the Year” (2/4)

NB: “mishigas” is the Yiddish word for “craziness, madness, zaniness”, as derived from the Hebrew. The blond character on the cover is Jewish in the novel.
