bi4les / les4bi flag I expanded the centre stripe of the lesbian flag to match the bi one, the colours were derived both flags using different blend modes & opacities levels. The heart was inspired by the les4les flag but the colour was specifically chosen from the sapphic flag

In today's edition of some distraction from stress, I present:

Rebekah Westenra @thealienamongus.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

The part where I found these (and the 2002 clipping about that MTV competition) by accident because I usually limit my search to 2008 onwards (it drastically cuts down on false positive results) but this dataset only had like 50 entries from this century so I didn’t bother

Rebekah Westenra @thealienamongus.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Okay so one of the weirdest things I’ve found on my deep dives into various newspaper archives is Katie McGrath being interviewed about fashion in March 2006 & April 2007, well before she was famous. also featuring THOSE BOOTS

Rebekah Westenra @thealienamongus.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

New to the KMcG Archives I also created a subfolder for articles about the shows that either don’t feature Katie at all or she is only a small portion of (I made clippings of those for the main folder). Items on the lists highlighted in red were moved from the main folder

Unfortunately that was all that they were able to get TPTB to agree to in the end. I don’t know how or why (I have my theories) but I *know* that.

010

Rebekah Westenra @thealienamongus.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

yeah exactly. Simple things like that flashback sequence making the subtextual text are why I feel so confident in the argument that they ARE canon & the intended endgame, albeit more censored than even Xena was. I don’t think it was always intended or always done in good faith but I believe S6 was.

Tiny Action Comics easter egg for those who know - the dog Clark saves in 1096 is my own little goober, Dude 🤓

Comic panel crop of kneeling Superboy, holding a small tan & white dog in one arm. His left arm stretched out off-panel right. The little dog licks Superboy's face
