It's such a ridiculous exaggeration. The only thing I've heard of schools doing is using a child's preferred pronouns and name if they indicate they are not comfortable with their given name. Most of the time parents are aware and OK with this. When they aren't, that's where this comes from.

I've made Japanese katsu curry before, but in the past I used curry cubes. Today I made it completely from scratch. It was amazeballs. It came out really creamy and luscious. The worst part was making the caramelized onions, which takes about 35 minutes.

Not all religious people want to force their religion on others. Most of my family members are observant Catholics. They are Democrats. And they will tell you their faith is a big reason why they're Democrats. And they're pro-choice!

The infuriating thing is that this slur worked well enough that average Americans think she claimed Native ancestry. It even damaged her reputation enough in MA that she couldn't win the presidential primary here. And media figures never push back when people repeat the lie.

I find it depressing that so many people are using this miracle just to lose a few pounds. For many of us, this is drug we will be on for life. It is appalling that doctors are starting to push these drugs on their patients just to help them lose weight.

I take a GLP-1 because I have type 2 diabetes. These drugs have been a miracle for me. My blood sugar is now well within the normal range. And yeah, I lost a good 50 pounds as a result. But I'm not thin, and probably never will be.

I used to buy a lot of clothes at Target and it always bugged me how small the plus size section was. There was always a lot of selection online, but not in store. They want our money, but they don't want to see us.

I take Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes. I have lost weight, but I'm not skinny. I still wear plus size clothes. And I know people think I must be doing something wrong because I'm not thin yet. It's depressing sometimes.

Italians can't vote in US elections unless they hold dual citizenship. I'm Italian-American and I can happily report he received 0% of the vote from my immediate family. Also, the states with the highest % of Italian-Americans didn't vote for him either.
