Ahem
A chart published by Pew Research Center in 2019 with the headline, "Jews, atheists, and agnostics correctly answer more than half of religious knowledge questions." It shows that, out of 32 questions, Jews answer an average of 18.7, atheists 17.9, and agnostics 17.0. The next highest score is evangelical Protestants with 15.5 out of 32.

Spoilers for this book?
The cover of the book "We'll Prescribe You a Cat" by Syou Ishida. The graphic on the cover shows a cute gray cat with black stripes and white tummy poking its head and front paws out of a typical orange prescription medicine bottle. It also has the text "Cats are always the purrfect cure."

Wow. I was bullied relentlessly at Camp Ramah and the counselors did nothing, so it doesn't surprise me that there was even more heinous stuff going on there. I hope people stop going there and the place gets shut down.

Saw someone at the gym wearing this t-shirt. I wonder how it would go down if I showed up with a shirt that says "I'm not religious, I'm on team Pharisees"?
Black t-shirt that has a graphic of a medieval knight in full plate armor, leaning on his downward-pointed sword as he bows his head. The text on the tshirt says "I'm on Team Jesus. I'm not religious. I'm a Christian, imperfect and untrustworthy, saved by grace, seeking after God."

A screenshot from a Google search. It shows a Newsweek article. There's a stock photo of Jordan Peterson looking upset. The headline link says, "Jordan Peterson's daughter issues tearful health update, percent-sign percent-sign page percent-sign percent-sign percent-sign percent-sign sep percent-sign percent-sign percent-sign percent-sign sitename percent-sign percent-sign."

Below that is the start of the article which says "Jordan Peterson's daughter Mikhaila has issued a tearful update on her father's health, which she described as a near-death experience for..."

The date on the article is October 5, 2025.

Jewish individuals can believe whatever, but these are specific things literally every Jewish denomination agrees on.
Segal's theories of Jewish denominational agreement:
1. The number of Gods is at most one.
2. The Torah is a big deal.
3. "Messianic Judaism" is not Judaism.

In today's society, everybody wishes to have their voice heard, as though they truly had something to contribute to the discourse. But no words flow forth upon those occasions in which they open their mouths to speak - merely a motley collection of the most incoherent babble. Moreover, these cretins conduct themeselves in a manner which suggests they have absolutely no recollection of Dre.

Met this one close up in Woodstock, NY a month ago. The picture is taken from the back deck of the house we were staying at, so we got a great angle. We went outside to water the homeowner's plants and found them just munching on a fruit tree right next to the house.

A screenshot from Civilization 5. It shows an animated Mahatma Gandhi standing on a grassy beach with a beautiful view of a cove and hills behind him. He's wearing traditional dress. He clasps his hands together and wears a somber expression. At the bottom of the screen is a textbox, captioned "Consul Gandhi of India." The textbox reads, "Now is the time for my master plan to commence. It is time for you to die like the rest of these fools." And then, in all caps, it parentheses and all caps, it says, "War declared!"

The flag of Strongbadia, altered to the colors of the bisexual pride flag.

It shows a snake baring its fangs, with its body wound through a tire, and holding a sword with its tail. The snake is labeled, "Snake." The background is the bi pride flag, but with the line between the top two stripes zigzagged to resemble a fence.

I feel bad for using AI but wow, it's literally true
The idiom "never sing to an angry potato" means to avoid engaging with or trying to reason with someone who is already angry or upset. It suggests that trying to calm them down with words or singing will likely be ineffective and might even make the situation worse. Essentially, it's a humorous way of saying "don't provoke an already angered person."
Here's a more detailed explanation:
"Angry potato" is a metaphor:
The phrase uses the image of a potato, a relatively inanimate object, to represent someone who is easily angered or agitated.
"Singing" is a form of placating:
Singing can be seen as a way to calm or soothe someone, but in this context, it's a misstep.

This is not a double-bluff.
Evangelicals aren't that sophisticated in their rationale.
It's also kinda gross that this was twisted to make victims out of the folks that are decidedly NOT the victims here.
The PALESTINIANS are the victims here. Not the Jews trying to bomb them out of existence.

The article you quoted from doesn't actually list a source. The article on Demographics of Israel, which does, puts the number at 31.8%. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demogra...
Screengrab from Wikipedia article. It reads as follows:

There are no government statistics categorizing Israeli Jews as "Ashkenazi", "Mizrahi", etc, but studies and estimates have been conducted. In a 2019 study, in a sample meant to be representative of the Israeli Jewish population, about 44.9% percent of Israel's Jewish population were categorized as Mizrahi (defined as having grandparents born in North Africa or Asia), 31.8% were categorized as Ashkenazi (defined as having grandparents born in Europe, the Americas, Oceania and South Africa), 12.4% as "Soviet" (defined as having progenitors who came from the ex-USSR in 1989 or later), about 3% as Beta Israel (Ethiopia) and 7.9% as a mix of these, or other Jewish groups. Note that this methodology isn't exact: See, for example, Bulgarian or Greek Jews, who would be categorized as Ashkenazi according to this definition, although they are overwhelmingly Sephardic.
