It’s Publishers Marketplace official🥹 My debut novel, SOULCAST, will be out summer 2027. It’s not only the book of my heart, but the book of my soul and I can’t wait to share it with readers #booksky #blacksky

The Publisher’s Marketplace Deal Announcement for Aaron’s debut novel, SOULCAST. It reports the sale of the series and reads: Actor and content creator Aaron Cole's SOULCAST, a debut fantasy pitched as Dante's INFERNO meets THE HUNGER GAMES and CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE and inspired by the Central African mythology of the underworld of Kalunga, in which a 16-year-old warrior infiltrates a dangerous competition to unlock a passage to the underworld and save his mother's soul from a death curse, but when the competition's trials become deadly, he must team up with a brooding enemy whose secrets may be the key to survival, to Jonah Heller at Peachtree Teen, in a two-book deal, for publication in summer 2027, by Natalie Lakosil at Looking Glass Literary & Media (world).

This journey has been far from easy. SOULCAST was my fourth book on submission in four years. A week before the offer, I seriously considered giving up my dream of being published. And then the impossible happened: my dream came true. Don’t give up.

Thank you to everyone in the #WritingCommunity who’s been championing this book. I knew when I first posted about it last year, it’d be different. Your support’s truly been life changing. Keep writing your stories. I’m proof that the impossible can become possible.

I have the best parents in the world. Your resilience and work ethic were my guiding light. More often than not, you sacrificed so much to ensure I had a better life. As the son of an immigrant, who came to the US on the belief of the American, I hope I’m making you both proud.

To my support system: Tamara, from the first book we wrote together as kids, you’ve been my lifeline. Samantha, you were the first to read this story. Because of you, it’s better. Richard and Femi, your belief has made this real. I’m thankful to have you all in my life.
