Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Also, asked if it could have an Australian accent and when it responded in the negative it offered to use Australian colloquialisms. "G'day mate!..." Etc was the result so I told it that it sounded stupid and that Australians don't actually talk like that. 000
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Had to go pick up my nephew because his car broke down and while waiting for someone to come look at it I decided to play with Grok. I asked it what the square root of 0.5 is and sent ourselves into stitches as I kept asking for more decimal precision. 100

Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 25/09/2026I don't like being negative about a game but it really left me feeling nothing aside from being glad it was over. I wouldn't even have finished it if my nephew wasn't pushing me to do so. 000
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Finished Wolverine tonight and what a disappointment. The combat was good but gets repetitive and every other system in the game is shallow and often pointless. The story was predictable and meh. They're obviously trying to set up another game but if it's just going to be more of that, no thanks. 100
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 24/09/2026I handled Silent Hill 2 Remake (and Silent Hill f, which I didn't record) so well, what's another one? youtu.be/X7B-F408QX8youtu.be Welcome to St Amelia - Silent Hill: TownfallYouTube video by the1ben 010

Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 21/09/2026The son did it. Reasons: 1. Hal Jordan killed his grandmother. 2. He is way too relaxed about Hal Jordan being murdered. 3. What would be the most damaging answer? 000
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Possible spoilers for Lanterns on HBO!? If you've read/watched a lot of media the formula becomes obvious. 101
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I've been on the final trial of 7.0 for a while now and have been struggling to find the motivation to complete it. 100
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 13/09/2026It's close, but not exactly the same. 1.43:1 vs 1.4:1 000
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Did I ever mention that I do a (mostly) unscripted podcast during which @azhuredragon.bsky.social and I talk about whatever comes to mind? Mel had a list of things she wanted to talk about this time, and you won't believe what she says about Vanilla Coke. youtu.be/hElQLJTTC3s?...youtu.beThe Shitcast Episode 23 | How do we do this again?YouTube video by the1ben 020
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Yup. Blizzard continuing their time-honoured tradition of announcing things WAY too early. I look forward to the announcement that it got cancelled in the interim. 000
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I'm not sure if you're in mobile app development, but I thought "great - ANOTHER FORK FACTOR!" 110
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Maybe #blizzard should have skipped this #blizzcon as well in favour of announcing games that are coming within the next year rather than ones for 2029 and 2030. 001
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Last night Nelly, Jarrod, @mjdart.bsky.social, and I had our first session of BG3 and it went well right until the end when Jarrod decided to find out if actions have consequences. Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Have I raved about my app enough yet? I'm slowing adding more features and making it look better. Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 12/08/2026There's an alternative, but if people refuse to switch it's hard to sympathise. 000
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Picked up my #switch2 for the first time in a short while and went to the Nintendo Store. What the hell have they done? Thinking, it's possible I'm stupid, I asked my nephew but no - I cannot find where to buy #switch2 games. Missed opportunity #nintendo - my credit card finger was itchy. 000
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Thank you. Surprisingly, the Google Play Store is more complicated. 000
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Thing I learned today: IMAX Melbourne is the only IMAX in the southern hemisphere capable of projecting 70mm film. #theodyssey 010
Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 15/07/2026I still need more testers on Android before I can publish it to the Google Play Store so reach out if you're interested. 010

Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 09/06/2026That's what they said. They've also said that before so I'll believe it when it's out. 000

Ben Harris @the1ben.bsky.social · 08/06/2026@mkbhd.com was right about that lock animation, I've seen it four times so far. #WWDC26 000
