I've been working on some of the art for Borrowed Light! The hardest part for me is environment art, so I'm going to try to template it as much as I can so I can swap tree styles easily for the infinite scrolling. #jernjam #gameart

Any time someone thinks your game is terrible, they immediately call it AI slop. If it's really good, AI slop. It's rough being an indie dev right now. This is why it's important to stream your work, share dev logs, show progress, and be open about development these days.

Whelp, I didn't finish Faceroll Odyssey for the game jam I started it for. I scoped a project for 2 weeks and couldn't put 2 weeks of work into it. However, I'm lowkey having fun working on the project, so I might try to finish it anyways :)

For anyone that was watching me struggle on adding dodge to my character....the movement was being overridden by the keyboard movement move_and_slide function. I had to add a boolean for when they player is dodging. I shoulda known.
