You can only personally deliver your mail-in ballot on Election Day. Did that in 2024. Also, it took 5 days for our ballot to get from the election office to our home and 4 days to get back to the election’s office.

As a Texas Dem who worked with the Galveston County Dem Party for 10 years, I love your data for perspective. I did a lot of data crunching back then. The number of registered voters has risen for this election but how does that compare to our voter eligible population - over time?

Texas is NOT a RED state. It's a NONE-voting state: 44% of voters who are registered, didn't vote in 2022. They let the GQP win again and again. As we've hoped in the past, maybe this year more registered voters will vote BLUE in a big way? www.lonestarleft.com/p/numbers-nu...

That "something different and better" needs to include a replacement for the authoritarian economic system that created the morbidly wealthy. We need a democratic economic system that gives employees control of the profit their productivity creates. They will prevent wealth concentration/abuse.

53 years ago, yesterday, in 1973, I returned to San Diego aboard the USS Constellation, CVA-64, to reunite with my family whom I hadn't seen since late Spring of 1972 - a total separation of 17 months.

USS Constellation, CVA-64, pulling into San Diego Harber after a 9 month cruise off Vietnam - 252 days at sea.
