It’s my birthday! I feel like 35 will be a good age. I also got Jera as my rune of the week until tomorrow morning, perfect for reflecting on the last year!

Advice needed! I dedicate my workouts to the Valkyries and have been struggling to keep the music selection fresh. Any suggestions for music that helps you tap in spiritually while keeping some good workout momentum that isn't Heilung or Wardruna (already listen to them a ton). #heathensky

Did my Thursday ritual, and my new rune of the week is Ansuz. Years ago I started a project on the runes, writing them as if they were characters right in front of me. Answering what the spirit would look, feel, and behave like to me. I think I will return to that project this week. #heathensky

An acorn with the rune Ansuz burned into it rests on a wooden surface in front of a red and green ceramic mug. A small votive candle sits to the right

My uncommon one is scrying with the hair that sticks to the shower walls after I swirl them there so they don’t clog the drain. Odd, but it has always been accurate! I believe that helpful spirits often live in the hair of practitioners, so they are little messages from them. #folkwitchfriday

The spiritual things all start to feel pretty routine and mundane after a while, and honestly it can be such a good thing. It is woven into everyday life and isn't a performance or special occasion every single time, it is just part of you and living your life. #witchsky #heathensky

I am working on my monthly article for a tarot column right now and this so happens to be my supporting card of the day #heathensky #witchsky

A black and white illustration of Bragi, god of
poetry. The text reads “Bragi. Poetry, Language, Expression.” The card features a figure blowing a horn while seated in front of an image of two figures clinging to each other, presumably the story unfolding as Bragi tells it.

An update! My mandrake, Olrun, still has her leaves and seems to be opening some up a bit. I’ve had her for 4 days now. So far I have already had a dream about her (I stopped dreaming a while ago bc insomnia) and this latest full moon was extra intense. #witchsky #heathensky

Today's Dagaz reflection: I have been dedicating myself to improving my trance states for my practice, so I find the presence of this rune this week to be interesting. While I relate many meanings to it, today there was an extra emphasis on being in an "in-between" state. #heathensky

020

Seidr Whispers @the-seidkona.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

My next rune ended up being Dagaz! I had a great ritual and this rune feels very appropriate for some shifts happening with my spirituality and with work (which are the same anyway). Looking forward to meditating on it this week again and seeing what comes up #witchsky #heathensky

An acorn cap with the rune Dagaz etched into it rests on a grey carpet next to a tea light candle with a wooden disk platform on the left, a small ceramic cup behind it, and the tip of a staff with crystals and bone charms splayed out to the right and foreground.

I pull a new rune for reflection, meditation, as a spiritual guide etc each week on Thursday evenings. I will be saying farewell and thank you to Tiwaz tonight and invite a different one forward depending on what the rune set determines should be next. Any intuitive guesses? #heathensky #witchsky

I’ve spent a decent chunk of the day writing and it has reminded me what a sacred and spiritual act that can be. To take your thoughts and put it into a physical form to be shared is a heavily spiritual act that I think often gets taken for granted.

I’ve been stagnant, and to break the stillness I’ve decided to focus on going back to basics. I did a light seidr trance and some small workings by the fire to shake the ice off. I saw lots of snakes (good omen for trolldom) and a rider on horseback (the rider is pictured!) #heathensky #witchsky
