I rewrote the beginning of the Longing for like the 12th time this week. It's getting closer to what I feel is right. Currently stealing liberally from James Joyce's Portrait of the Artist. I figure 5 more rewrites + edit and it'll be ready! #darkfantasy #visualnovel #chroniclesoftaldun

One of my favourite thing about Never Winter's Briar is that it takes time out of the horror and drama for the little things. Arden watching Briar make a stew, how they tap a finger on their lips while choosing a herb to put in, how they cut the meat small because Arden is grossed out by big chunks.

Chronicles of Taldun: the Longing Update: We are at 120k words now. The story is about 70% done. So I'll probably write it to 180k, then edit it back down to 120k. That's a lot of baby-killing. (Writer's lingo, no actual babies will be harmed.) Wishlist it! tinyurl.com/4w6a3tr8

We are turning MWB into a full length novel. Three novellas will be joined together, one about Briar and Arden, another about Briar and Willow, the woman who raised Briar into who they are. And Eliel's story. We expect it will be out some time this year. Is this normal? What do you think?

Our dark fantasy short story Eliel’s Bloom is published! Six hearts intertwined, six bodies joined in devotion. Six voices raised in song. Yet, the roots hunger, vast and unyielding. Love alone may not be enough to hold them together. #queererotica #darkfantasy nimphradora.itch.io/eliels-bloom

Eliel – the Vessel, the Offering "Love demands sacrifice. Eliel understood this better than anyone." Taking the role of a vessel of ancient magic, Eliel willingly offers his body to the forest. As the roots take hold, does he become something divine, or something monstrous? #queererotica #shortstory

Six hearts intertwined, six bodies joined in devotion. Six voices raised in song. But when Eliel lays bare beneath the sacred grove, it is not only his flesh that is given. The roots hunger, vast and unyielding. Love alone may not be enough to hold him together. Coming soon! #booksky #queererotica

New novella I'm the works. This one is pouring out even faster than Briar did. A torturer's story, might be a tiny bit of Joe Abercrombie influence in there somewhere. ^^ #lgbtq #darkfantasy #fiction

Writing advice be like: how to describe like Tolkien, how to plot like Sanderson. Nothing wrong with all that, but what works for me the MOST is: "write only self indulgent trash". Enabled me to turn out a pages a day, every day for months now. Try it! Write utter, unabashed filth! #writing

The primordial fish S'ruthrul gave birth to the world of Taldun, and the world beyond. It was the sun that circled—for aeons without end—at the zenith of the sky and bathed the world in heat. From Appendix Ia by Magus Tashana of Twenty Stones, Chronicles of Taldun #cottl #taldun #visualnovel

#fantasybook lovers and #fantasywriters Help me name this genre. I have a few stories that deal with magi searching for spiritual awakening. They take place in a world where magic is dangerous and morally gray, not the epic, powerful magic of Tolkien, or the whimsy of Ghibli. But it's also... 1/2
