Power went out last night while editing the next paid chapter of Fair Trade so it'll be up a little later today than usual but should he up by evening. Free chapter was scheduled already so will be up at usual time of 11a PDT. Still have to make the posts so may be shared here a little late too.

Not long after I started this story I had to retrain myself to draw with only a mouse for a time because of arthritis. I shifted to this watercolor style because it being messy didn't bother me but airbrushed will always be more my style. #yaoi #ocart #art

Been reading a lot of fanfic lately and some of my favorite ships. One or both of them are pretty traumatized in canon and most fics ride off that or amplify it. We need more pure fluff and smut fics. Let them be happy where the worst argument is over what to eat or something mundane like that.

Since I am taking a break from the book grind after release, probably be the rare drop of fanart again. Mostly vtubers and Hoyo games I play but I'm very hyperfixated on Fair Trade so probably a lot of fluff.

You know I keep telling myself I'll make a section on my site where I share my character refs but I update them so often 😫 currently working on the outfits for the newest arc.

Since book 1 is in final stages and will likely be out sometime in September I'm back to drawing fluff and memes of my favorite gays (memes will be shared later) #art #animeart #oc #ocart #yaoi

Xueye sits in Yushi's lap as they gaze lovingly at each other about to kiss. Both are in their new outfits from the latest chapters. Not that I've shown much of Yushi’s yet lol.

Jinse sneaking in from behind Xueye to try and steal a kiss. I forgor Jinse’s necklaces again oops. Still cute tho.

The one thing I miss about using twitter was all the art memes I could use as an excuse to draw my characters outside of story content more lol I don't get that as often on my cultivated feeds here.

✨New Chapter✨ Yushi arrives at the apothecary bruised and battered while bearing gifts for Xueye and after a little teasing he has a request for while Xueye is away. Read for free: www.mirzamarchive.com/post/fair-tr... #yaoi #bl #writing #oc #ocart #romance

Fair Trade Chapter 58 art. Yushi, bandaged and bruised keeps Xueye's attention on him with a hand on Xueye's chin.

“All things considered, I strangely enjoyed it. I haven’t had anyone match me in a long while.”
“You can do it without the bruising,” Dr.Jingji rolled his eyes and walked off in a huff. “Help him out if he needs it, Xueye. I’ll go prepare breakfast.”
“Oh, s-sure!” Xueye snapped out of his daze upon hearing his name. He glanced back at Yushi who smirked at him. He knew full well that Xueye was staring and not just out of concern. “W-What?”
“Nothing,” Yushi let out a little breathy laugh. “Are you feeling warm enough this morning?”
“I am plenty warm,” Xueye nodded quickly, trying to look away but Yushi caught his chin. Xueye tensed and he refused to look. That hand gently moved up along Xueye’s jaw to run along his cheek that was definitely very flushed by now.
“You sure are,” Yushi hummed delightedly and all too soon for Xueye was that touch gone.

Going into fluff withdrawals of my boys because I'm mid separation/yearning arc for litterally all the canon ships (mistakes were made) and I am in formatting hell rn so indulgent fluff art is unavailable to cope with.

More fanfic writers really should get into writing original works. I'm sucked into these AUs where if you changed the character names no one would know even if you kept the appearance the same istg

Sumi Mirzam @thatyokaiwitch.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Note that as I'm editing the old chapters of Fair Trade once more I am updating them where I post. They aren't major changes, just a few words or an added sentence or fixing punctuation I somehow missed. The Patreon ones will get art for every chapter. Free chapters on my site may get some not all.
