Rather surprised that @jeopardyofficial.bsky.social chose to highlight Faneuil Hall - especially during #blackhistorymonth - considering it's namesake's ties to the slave trade, and that Boston City Hall has voted to rename the space because of it.

Thank you! It does get a little dark at one point, thinking I should have put Stanley after all that to pull us out of it.

I pine for the C-90 days! And while on-line digital mixes aren't bound by time constraints, I still do burn cd copies for a good number of friends! Glad to meet you!!

After all, the utterance of "Nuremburg" holds a great deal of meaning and understanding of repercussions to those holding major ranks.

If you think the Democrat's video warning about unlawful orders was meant for the lower ranks of the enlisted, you're mistaken. It was meant for the most senior of officers, particularly those who attended the Hesgeth/Trump meeting a month or so back; and that message was received loud and clear.

Am I shocked that @whitehouse-47.bsky.social is tearing down part of The White House? No, as it's symbolic of how the President is dismantling our democracy. What truly shocks me is that he didn't create a shell company that would capitalize on selling pieces from that demolition for his benefit.

Hoping someone here (or at @nbcnews.com) can explain why - on the Season 51 premier of SNL (10/4/2025 - Bad Bunny, host) - the "Information" kiosk clock shows 10:56 instead of the usual post-cold-open time of 11:30-something. Was this actually a delayed broadcast, and not truly "Live?" What gives?

Ironic that @jimmykimmel.com asks the question on WWTBAM about gum advertisements featuring twins as he was once removed not just from the Twins Days Festival, but from Twinsburg, Ohio itself after looking for the Doublemint Twins there many years ago.

@americanair.bsky.social Just a heartfelt note of thanks for the kindness & professionalism given me by AA employees on a recent trip home fraught w/ canceled flights (weather), re-routed baggage & a lost (but found) item. From lounge front desk staff to crew, they went above & beyond. Thank you!

"You're gonna need a bigger boat!" On this 50th anniversary of "Jaws," I thought I'd sport this fictional Amity Island Sharks hockey jersey from Geeky Jerseys. I was in junior high at the time "Jaws" hit the screen & it happened to be the movie for my first blind date. (It went swimmingly well 😉)
Two pictures together as one, showing the front and back of a fictional hockey team jersey. The first frame shows the front, with the team's logo of a shark leaping out of the water with its teeth bared and blood around its mouth. Written underneath is "Amity Island Sharks." The second frame shows the back, with the name "Brody" across the shoulders and the number "75" underneath that.

I had a wonderful time catching the U.S. debut of "Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York) at the A.R.T. in Cambridge (MA). The acting, singing, and choreography / interaction amongst the (surprisingly) versatile and moving stage was amazing. Funny and emotional, I highly recommend seeing it!

To think, The Folk Festival was initially a federally funded initiative supporting (in this instance) the Lowell National Park & (nationally) the traditional arts. Thanks to Paul Tsongas for helping to bring it in 1987, and thanks to the City for continuing it. Shame that its future is in jeopardy.

Let's be real here for a moment, no one in the 99% buys 30 dolls in one year for their child. They may, perhaps buy three over the course of one year. So accoring to the out-of-touch President's percentages, no one will be buying (or can afford to buy) a doll this year.
