Also in the same vein- although very belated as this was originally for the 8th. A Birthday image for @jessironi89.bsky.social of her shared avatarbase sona Tricksie- and the many many Jax plushies that (And #Jax himself) who I've decided to draw for this box. Including a few AUs of hers as nods.

Turns out- hilariously. This was 2017. I had to go back to Tumblr to recheck my dates and such. The 2018 date was actually for an old image I did at the time based on the cosplay variant and a version that spun off from it. So as a followup on that, have the old art. #TVLArt #OldArt #LoZ

#TVLArt #SonicOC #RLFDAU The commission and back and forth is also one of the reasons I really had fun doing this request (that I'm putting here). I haven't done ship art for some of my own shenanigans in a long while so- this was a lot of fun.

There's a possibility that due to transparency issues, the text by Metal might be borked. If it is- it's an arrow pointing at him that says "Could destroy the world." with the one next to Lexi saying "The reason he won't."

#TVLArt - On the subject of bringing back older art. It be 2019 art for/of @kagatoyt.bsky.social (Specifically a quick thing I did a while back when the Majora’s Mask Let’s Play was going on with him and Bun.) Since I know you’re over here, I wanna yeet this back over.

#TVLArt - Another old art (joke art even) that still amuses me and I wanna redraw one day if just to make it an emote or sticker or something to use in Discord or the like. And it’s just… #YoungLink from #OcarinaofTime (or possibly #Majora’sMask ) with a Contrabass Ocarina.

A loose and sketchy watercolor image of an annoyed looking young Link, playing a comically oversized version of the Ocarina of Time. (Specifically, a contrabass version of the Ocarina, which funny enough is a real thing.)

#TVLArt - Also in the continued vein of yeeting older art over here. #DarkPit from #KI:U in a… much older limited Palette art attempt. This time in ‘What I Gain I Lose’ which is both a #Colourpod palette and one of the ones collected onto a list by torddkin (defunct account) on Tumblr.

A transparent… technically- version of a limited palette picture of Dark Pit from the game Kid Icarus Uprising. Although drawn more like his Smash 4 and Smash Ultimate counterpart. Smug and right at the moment before that staff is about to be pointed at someone.

#TVLArt A few years back, when the #Linksona stuffs was going on with #BoTW, I was messing around with mine (Lure who was based on my Wii-U Master Mode Save and Lon who was off of my Switch main) with some #colourpod palettes. Specifically… I think ‘Sharp Flowers’ and ‘Does Magic Believe In You’.

A heart-shaped bust limited palette art of a rather annoyed alternate design of Link/Linksona. Covered in scars and squinting at the viewer, he’s holding a haphazard batch of thistles in his hands.

#TVLArt - And found some of the old Halloween Mini-Event RP talksprites once more. Man I missed these. I think my favorite thing here was the Echo Flower hairpin. And all the expressions.

Yes that is Error’s coat- this plus some interactions at the time is what started the ball rolling on the joke of stealing Event Character’s clothing by the end of things.

I still love starry eyed effects being literal.

There always needs to be a facepalm option.

I don’t remember why I bothered to have a FIGHT pose. But it was fun.

#TVLArt - And on a slightly to the side base and the result of a Discord call and my ill-advised attempts to voice Spamton while Deltrarune was being streamed (among others) Hey @synchrocreator.bsky.social : Remember this gremlin? Also three variants because I had no sense.

I wanna reuse this color scheme for hair on a full OC at some point- it was really pretty.

No no, you’re seeing it right. Shai gave me ideas and I HAD to draw it.

Why am I just the protagonist of Persona 5 but paler- what did I do here.

And there she is. The cat that steals my chair. Behold, Brie.

A maine coon cat is curled up on a cushion on a wooden chair. Taking the photo seems to have awoken her. There is sunlight lazily streaming in from a nearby window.

Don’t try and look cute with me, I pulled that chair out to sit in while getting coffee.

#TVLArt - Funny enough, this base continued on into Accidentverse for that window of time before it split for many reasons. (Silence and Accidentverse belongs to dryemiddi - Admixverse is the split-) and my ongoing thing of drawing this sona in character outfits for teams continues.

MV!Violet strikes again.

I’m glad I could find this picture again. I genuinely really liked doing this. Wish I could find when I drew some of the actual characters. Not just the outfit joke.

Noel @thatvioletlink.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

#TVLArt - The next time I ended up drawing #KatsukiBakugo was actually for @jessironi89.bsky.social 's Birthday. So hey, for once, y'all get a picture from this year from me on here. XD To this day, I still don't quite get how to do his hair but it was fun to do. #giftart #bakugou

Can you tell I love some of the brushes on FireAlpaca/Medibang a little too much? Especially the strawberries?

020

Noel @thatvioletlink.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

#TVLArt - So, while not that time of year, yet. I did still wanna poke over the first time I’ve full drawn #Deku, #Bakugo, and #Uraraka . Which was as a Christmas EyeSpy thing for a different Event Server. But I still really enjoy how this came out. God, when was this anyway… Late 2020? #MHAFanart

I’m still proud of that little FatGum eggtimer.

320

Noel @thatvioletlink.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

#TVLArt - By comparison, this is how I used to draw myself at the time. Again cause I like drawing sonas for Events and based on the media I like. Whether fanmade or not. I still very much liked the glasses as a nod to the strings Error has, since that was the team I was on at the time.

I ramble a lot. So inevitably a sprite like this was going to exist as a joke.

I still like a lot of the outfit things that happened here.

I’m fully well aware there’s a Dark Link and Dark Pit joke in here somewhere. There always IS whenever I give a sona like this the purple fluffy hair.

300

Noel @thatvioletlink.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

#TVLArt - Out of little talksprite edits that I had across multiple servers, I’ve been only able to find ONE of the actual skelesona design I was messing with at the time. Missing the portal unfortunately. But yes- the similarity to Error THAT outright was an intentional joke.

An Error!Sans-like character on a transparent background. The image is done in the style of a specific kind of talksprite that used to be occasionally used on apps like Tumblr and Discord.

The string markings on her face are a paler blue and arc upwards- almost like an eyeglass chain. If I ever redraw and nickname the design, she’ll probably get glasses back.

010

Noel @thatvioletlink.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

#TVLArt I should probably note. The Skele-Style Glitch design was me continuing a running joke across a couple of surveys. Which is also why (after some digging) I finally found the earlier doodle feat. Helix. Chaos happened a lot and I’m happy I’ve been able to track down a few more of these.

A simple two panel comic, feat two users from the UF Server event. It seems to be parodying The Princess And The Frog, with Helix asking a variant of a specific comment:

“Won’t you shake a poor surveyor’s hand?”
Followed by donning a mask of XGaster and replying:
“ARE YOU READY”

I… actually don’t remember what question it was at the end that I was running this off of. It had something to do with the glitching. Or with the Event Team. Whatever the case, it was fun to draw. The previous Human design (with the fluffy hair and such) was my actual little Team sona.

“Customer Service is not liable for any misunderstandings of intent, potential damages, mental trauma, temporary or permanent form changes that ensue from your choices and deals made during surveys.”

“See you next week.”

A reminder yet again- my doodles on those usually launch off of a final question or joke, they are not depictions necessarily of an actual conversation. They’re mostly server memes that I have kept.

100

Noel @thatvioletlink.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

#TVLArt - Part two for this because apparently the limit is four images. Got it. #Digimon So you get the last of this- which instead of being Blast Mode- uhh… was actually an alt of the X-Antibody version. It was aesthetics reasons. I love the four-wings.

A VERY VERY alt design for Beelzemon X- focusing way more on a color scheme of Red/Purple/Black/Gold. They’re charging up an attack. Better move.

((… You know, looking back at my choices made here- I see why it’s not exactly that surprising that Dark Pit is my Main in two different Smash Bros games. Look at what else I like to use.))

0158

Noel @thatvioletlink.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

#TVLArt Rolling back to 2019 - I had once (as part of an RP that never really got off the ground but was fun to draw stuff for) did some #Digimon art. Playing with something that ran with Frontiers’ whole henshin aspect but kept the lines longer. So you know- sona shenanigans ensued.

A cutout image of a glasses wearing woman with blue hair that fades to blonde. She’s carrying a custom phone-like Digivice. There is a red bandana tied around one arm. There’s a lot of dark purple tones used. In the background, a blurry silhouette is visible.

Okay so. Blue hair is a theme in a fair number of sonas I had at the time. I dye my hair a lot and blue tones from Manic Panic stick around the longest. Even though I would love to keep pink for longer than… a week.

Unfortunately I don’t remember what I wrote on the paper in DigiCode. I know it SAID SOMETHING because I was poking fun at some Sheikah elements AND a Medicine Seller (Mononoke series) nod for a later part, but man.

A cutout image of a slightly altered Sorcerimon. The red bandana and the red hairband are carried over. Added seems to be a red teardrop earring. The background suggests a half moon.

The OoT!Sheik vibe is… slightly intentional.

A VERY alternate Baalmon/Reapmon design on another cutout. Featuring a crescent moon theme in the background. Like the other forms so far, the ponytail, bandana, and earring are kept.

…. You can tell at some point I gave up on the paper amulets because I started legit scribbling rather than repeating either DigiCode or my reference designs.

Feel free to translate the DigiCode if you can, I legit don’t remember what it says.

Behold, another cutout. For another alt design. No don’t question why I wanted to run masculine line for my character- we’ll be here all day. And as before, the repeating elements of bandana, earring, red hair thing, all well- repeat.

I do, however. Still genuinely want that jacket. Like. IRL.

#TVLArt While I’m on the thought about it. #NiGHTS #NiGHTSIntoDreams There’s a 40% chance that the homemade NiGHTS shirt is still in storage (hopefully). Although likely no longer fits. And the little cardboard moving box I doodled on unfortunately did not survive storage, but hey.

A simple silhouette drawn onto a gray t-shirt of NiGHTS. A jester-like character from the SEGA games: NiGHTS Into Dreams and NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. The shirt seems to lean more into the NiD version.

There is glitter worked into the jewel, the shadow, and trailing from the hands. The blue glitter is meant to emulate the Star Trail (fanon term) or Twinkle Dust (JoD Term) that followed the character’s hands.

The design was made with fabric markers and nail polish. Lasting for years, funny enough.

NiGHTS (once again using a design leaning into the NiD base) is drawn full color on a cardboard box using what are likely colored pencils, flying over a cloud space with the sun behind them. There’s a slight hint of sharp teeth as a nod to the game.

There is a glow around the jewel in their chest.

#Zelda #BoTW #Animazement2018 Reminded a bit as I look through art but- way back when- I think for Animazement one year. I actually did try my hand at making a prop Tri-Caster guitar. Mostly cause the beta Modern!Link for BoTW kept giving me 'Jukebox Hero' vibes. This was back in 2018 I believe.

A fake flying-v style guitar painted to resemble the Triforce. Or more accurately the guitar in that modern beta design for BOTW Link. The guitar is strung with real pegs, a faked horseshoe bridge, no pickups, a nonexistent scratchboard, and a whammy bar.

When making this back in 2018, my Mom affectionately referred to it and the design that was the baseline of most of the choices made about this piece: as 'the frankenguitar'. She was not wrong.

There are... so many references snuck into this man. Some more obvious than others. Although I am very happy with how his (speech) bubble/background turned out.

Keiko is...- hm. That's a long story. Of several different references in one go. Only one of which is Legend of Zelda related.

The azaleas were a sight back then.

Back then, you almost couldn't see the old house through them when they were in bloom. They practically took over the walkway.

I miss this house. I miss this home. But I still have the pictures. I still have the memories. So have a few to share. A couple of porches I used to dwell on.

It’s been around for so long. And over there, Mr. Cuddles hanging out on the glider. The ferns were still up. He hadn’t yet decided he wanted to live inside.

We didn’t even have the garden set up then. But I always liked coming out onto this porch with some coffee.

Older than the pictures before. This place was long older than me. The building was made of Heartwood Pine.

#TVLArt - Another for the old art train. This time a doodle from a survey during some of the Underverse event stuff back in the Underfell server. Might remake that specific design one day… again. I liked the kinda pastel glitch joke that came out of aspects. #utmv #sona #inksans #errorsans

A four panel joke comic created for the now defunct Underfell Event server- The comic’s old enough it still uses Ink’s old design.

Due to related events, the character has Ink dropped on her head and punted through another portal into a faceplant. This is normal considering the chaos.

I liked this joke sona design- may redraw her one day.

I don’t have it anymore unfortunately (four years down the line and I’m still cursing that house fire), but does anybody remember the video game cards that Hi-C did years back? ((And why is it so hard to find Blazing Blueberry Hi-C anymore?))

An old, folded, and faded Hi-C Nintendo card featuring Young Link from Ocarina of Time. While not pictured, the back used to have tips and tricks for the games of the time. These cards were sold as extras in promotional juice boxes when I was a kid.

Legit. This is just how I found him. In the ground. Walked into Lurelin Village. Chumin is now clipped INTO the ground, next to his donkey.

Just... Legit. Clipped into the ground like he's laying/standing there. Hand up. I did NOTHING to my knowledge to trigger this. It just WAS.

IT DIDN'T EVEN STOP HIM FROM TALKING TO ME WHEN INTERACTED WITH- HE WAS JUST IN THE GROUND FOR SOME REASON. I NEVER FOUND OUT WHY IT LOADED HIM THERE.

#SSBU #SuperSmashBrosUltimate #SSBUScreenshots Also in the vein of grabbing over- @sorakeyblade99.bsky.social remember the trophy glitch early on in SSBU?

No, you're looking at it right. This is four Isabelles in a match where due to an early glitch- we've summoned a whole LEGION of Skull Kids with Majora's Mask. Y'all are lucky this is a screenshot and not a video clip.

I remember the screaming.

Noel @thatvioletlink.bsky.social · 20/10/2024

#TVLArt - Going back a fair bit in stuff I had done. Back on to 2018 specifically. #SSBU and #WorldofLight shenanigans. Feat... *technically...* Young Link. "A puppet that can no longer be used is mere garbage."

A dark and limited palette image of Young Link? An Echo whose pose, lighting, and thematic are meant to evoke Skull Kid with Majora's Mask at the beginning of the game- well- Majora's Mask. Complete with the vibe of tossing the ocarina up and down in one hand. At the edges of the light and worked into the shadows, is a muted rainbow of colors. The eyes glow a concerning red and yellow and are reminiscent of some depictions of Dark Link.

The picture was drawn back in 2018 to go along with what was going on with Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Specifically the World of Light scenario in-game.

((Funny enough, despite not knowing this at the time. Skull Kid IS a Spirit for that campaign. And in fact by the time I got it- was one of my most USED Spirits because of the ability to steal Health/Heal Damage by attacking.))
