What that option does is basically tells a which percentage to stop sampling a pixel and just let the denoiser fix it: 0.00 = turn it off, do all the samples 0.01 = 1%, default setting (quite high) 0.10 = 10% good and fast enough for the viewport 1.00 = do one sample. looks really really bad 😁

😁 I'm on the opposite side... updating to the newest version ASAP and complain to myself WHY DID THIS BREAK, WHAT DID THEY DO?! until I get used to it. Also setting the noise threshold to something higher (like 0.05) will make the image a tiny bit noisier but also renders way faster

The Rift Tears mastery is really nice if you have it but an absolute pain if you don't.. Did some rifts on my alt account for the weekly and kept missing pre-events because the teleporting people could do these faster than I could travel to them..

absolutely (even though the newer versions of EEVEE also has nice raytracing features now). But maybe this will help: 1. Make sure GPU rendering is actually enabled (optix for nvidia, HIP for AMD and oneAPI for intel ARC) 2. Make sure GPU Compute is selected and lower the default samples

You can break back into the story instance where you enter Leyspring Hollows. It's completely empty in the open world map so you can freely explore but that also means you have to bring your own torch to see anything at all

And it also uses motivations.. quite wasteful if you ask me and never seen anybody use the overcharge mechanic on a rift

Okay that additional 25 second overcharge timer in addition to the "wait for the boss to arrive timer" for rifts is really unnecessary and annoying. They should just combine these..

I also thought the tiny mushrooms were supposed to be "yellow paint" but a lot of times they just lead to dead ends or impossible jumps.. I now even doubt if the puzzle is supposed to be linear because I can get to the checkpoints out of order 🫪 The beetles putting me in combat don't help either...
