Watched Resident Evil. Genuinely the most fun I’ve had at a theater in a WHILE. Full theater got as many laughs as it got genuine screams. Definitely not what some purists wanted, but for a Resident Evil experience? I genuinely felt like I was playing it at an arcade, which is a bizarre feeling

Finally played REANIMAL’s DLC. It’s great. Lots of thoughts/theories. Ofter seen handling curious artifacts, her cape’s stitching seems to shift into different notes, and a faint ringing can be felt when they’re around… but perhaps that’s not as weird as the lion mask she wears, showing a piercing catlike eye.

Its role is much more mysterious, remaining on earth as a hidden, passive observer of the rising superpowered population. It does not speak or interact with people in any way, unless it is to defend itself, for which it uses its shapeshifting limbs to grapple, absorb matter and hit people.

Marina, however, can’t really bother with that big scale “end of the world” stuff. She’s a college student trying to become an engineer. With her powers, she can’t stop walking earthquakes or living blackouts. But those sure aren’t the only issues that are worth fighting back against.
