Last night I had my very first voice recital as a music teacher! It was an incredible experience to watch some of my students perform and take what they learned from their lessons to the stage! That's the closest I've gotten to feeling like a proud mom! 🥹

Update on Punkie's life. I finally got a tattoo! Honestly, I fell asleep while I was getting it. My artist had a really gentle style and took really good care of me, and my god, I LOVE my new ink! Honestly, I think when I save up some more money, I might add to this. Maybe a leg sleeve? O_O

!WEAR A HELMET! Went rollerskating on a really nice road near my place and a leaf got stuck in my wheel. Had an awesome wipeout, but it would’ve been SO BAD if I didn’t have a helmet on. So PLEASE wear helmets!!!

Ngl when I started my teaching job I was really nervous that my style of teaching wouldn't be well percieved in a classical school, but today I was reminded that I do know my stuff and being unique is what makes me a great teacher. So glad my students are enjoying and learning in my lessons!
