Mainly, kick out (or cause to flee) a bunch of (often wealthy) people tied to the previous, US-aligned, regime of general Batista, who went on to settle in Florida and become an important power bloc there. This was not done without abuses mind you. But also those Floridians want Cuba back.

I would say the first step is to use antitrust to break up american legacy media, all of whom is by now the propaganda arm of the Republican Party to some degree. (and honestly start designating some of the most egregious pieces as campaign contributions but I suppose I'm dreaming)

Elon is no genius, but it *is* true that in the Sun's life cycle it will expand into a Red Giant. At some point, that will push Mars into the habitable range and the Earth out of it. But it's in billions of years and human civilization and tech moves way too fast for that event to be relevant to it.

In part they assume their control over mainstream media will avoid them the bad press for their actions, enough anyways that political maneuvers can save them if they ramp them up enough; The other part is assuming they're dead anyways if they go against Trump, maybe literally. Better to go along.

Not that I have any special insight, but I think it does. With him, all they do is The Will Of The People, by dint of his status as the Avatar of True America (an 80's WWF heel manager). Without him, whatever they do is the responsibility of whoever did it. Gravity may reassert itself strongly.

This is actually too standard for proper Quebecois anger. Someone above had "Cherche-moi pas" which if pronounced with a solid Québécois "moé" (mway) would work. But if you really want the full "Fuck-off" effect, you should go for a curt "Décrisse", with or without added invective.
