God Etrian Odyssey is such a based pick. One of the first games for me that really captured the feel of a TTRPG for be with how everything was narrated, it made me immersed in a way not many RPGs can do for me

I've been there myself plenty of times. Hell, if I'll be honest, I still feel that way about all of the friend groups that I'm a part of. But I've learned from experience that your friends don't want you to be alone. Just put yourself out there and have fun. I believe in you, friendo! 💙

I think that's the bulk of my thoughts. There's also a new creative drive, but we'll see where that goes. For now, I'm going to keep moving forward, being who I want to be. Thank you to all of the friends I've made so far, and I look forward to the friends I've yet to make!

Growing up praised for my intellect and being a "gifted child" did more harm than good for me. So being able to look at the praise that gave me trauma, throw it away, and live carefree is liberating. It's weird saying I want to be stupid, but...it's true! I want to be a stupid panda!

The exact reason would require more thinking (and maybe therapy), but I think it has to do with me feeling like I'm more of a dick when I lean into my smarts. And when I was pretending to be stupid, it allowed me to mentally focus more on being deliberately kind while still being funny.

Up to now, I've been very...myself. My fursona was basically me but a panda. But now I think I want to make him his own person that I become in this space. I tried that some at FM, and I was shocked to learn how easy it was for me to slip into being a dumb panda and interact with others like that.

But after this weekend, I want to try and be unapologetically myself in that regard. I've always been an active proponent of the baby fur community, but now it's time to own it as something I'm a part of. Which also ties in to the last thing I've been thinking about: who I am within this fandom.

Both of these kink meets also made me think about how I confront sex and kink in a public setting. I had a lot of deep-seated shame that I didn't realize I had until that moment. The public servers I'm in tend to be very anti-babyfur, so I was afraid to even tell where my roommates about it.

As for the ABDL meet, I just kinda got a coloring page and some crayons, found a seat to sit at, and just...talked. And it was a great time! Just casual conversation with peeps about being little and diapers, and I made a new friend there that I've been chatting with on and off! It was great!

However, what I found out works for me is that I just need to throw myself into the thick of it. The fatfur meet had a weigh-in that I decided to take part in, partially because everybody else that had weighed themselves before me weighed a lot less than me, and I got cheered on for being fat!

First, I learned that even though I do want to socialize, I'm very socially anxious by nature. I very nearly had a mental breakdown at the fat fur meet because I didn't know how to just go up to somebody and talk to them. Same thing happened at the ABDL meet. They were scary for me in the moment.

First day home from my very first furry convention, Furry Migration '26. It was honestly a very introspective weekend for me more than anything, and it made me think a lot about who I am and who I want to be within the furry fandom. In any case, definitely learned a lot about myself.
