ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 9hWIP Really enjoying the wrinkly, leathery membranes on the wings and dorsal sail. 000
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 31/07/2026Taught myself how to draw active camo. Still need more details. The foreground bricks are looking kinda underdeveloped now. 011
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 23/05/2026My reference for this guy. He's a giant mutant peacock spider, and also a safety and maintenence officer. 000
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 23/05/2026Just testing range of motion for rotating individual limbs. No Smearing or secondaries yet. So far so good. No interpolation = no blurring. 111
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 23/05/2026So it turns out my original resolution being so puny really was detrimental to my project. So now it's crunchy low-res instead of straight up pixel art. However it is somehow easier? 010
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 21/03/2026Meet Lil' Jack. He's a mutant peacock spider the size of a dog. Just doing a leg test, so it's not shaded or anything, but it's coming along. He also has a display but I havent gotten to the appendages on that yet. 000
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 29/12/2025I'm a charcoal guy at heart, so that philosophy transfers to my digital sketches. This is gonna be in color and sometimes I worry I will lose some of the magic from just the grayscale: 010
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 14/10/2025Had a nice little stream tonight. Drew my first Chaos Space Marine. I've wanted to draw this guy for a while, so say hi to good ol' Lucoryphus of the Bleeding Eyes. 010
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 13/10/2025Yeah I have snippets here and there just labeled wrong out on my desktop, not even in a project folder. Truly the wild west. 000
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 13/10/2025I may jump back into this one day and release something I'm happy with. But man, I tried going through the animation files for this and I have no idea what kind of workflow was going on. Thiss tuff needs better planning. 110
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 27/12/2024Nosferatu was good. I didn't really jive with the new Orlok design though. 000
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 23/12/2024Probably my funniest Christmas memory ever: Looking for a Turbo Man on Amazon and the second result being a sex toy. "I'm not a pervert! I was just looking for Turbo Man doll!" 000
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 01/12/2024Whenever I draw faces I end up subconsciously mugging their expressions. Been workshopping and repainting this one for an hour and my face hurts. 021
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 25/11/2024It's been a while since I've done backgrounds. Still probably my weakest aspect when doing any digital art but it's shaping up at least. 010
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 22/11/2024Name a TV show you’re positive no one remembers but you. 000
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 17/11/2024Spent the evening watching Dog Soldiers and drawing cheesecake. It's like I'm in my 20s again. (WIP) 000
ThatDMan @thatdman.bsky.social · 11/11/2024This will look a lot more coherent in color, but here's a Neurolictor rough draft: 010
