I think this one? If there were others with similar designs it could easily have been one of them though.

Apparently this is just a coincidence and that is not @timoflegend.bsky.social.
Screenshot of a Bluesky feed. A Double Fine post about their new lighthouse game, “Keeper,” appears just below a repost of a TikTok video entitled “Fun facts from a lighthouse.” The video features a weathered man with a big white beard who resembles Tim Schafer, but who is allegedly an unrelated lighthouse keeper from Norway named Paal.

For those in the SF Bay Area, I'm going to be at Silver Sprocket in the city next Tuesday night, asking noted comics author (and Telltale designer) Andy Hartzell about his new graphic novel, "Monday"!
A flyer for a book launch party. The book is called Monday, the author is called Andy Hartzell, and the event is Tuesday, January 14th, from 7-9 p.m. The venue is Silver Sprocket in San Francisco. No address is given, but you can probably Google that. It's somewhere in the Mission district.

Saw this post and remembered I own the CD, so I fired up PlexAmp to listen and there it was, but, inexplicably with this cover from an album by a Spanish band called Metal Storm that I’d never heard of before I did the image search:
An album cover showing five young men dressed in black, posing in the middle of a road and looking dangerous. Very metal.

I don’t think I’ve ever needed to shorten a pumpkin stem before. I started with a serrated kitchen knife, but this was absolutely the tool for the job.

Okay I’m still limping around but at least I’m off the crutches, so I went ahead and attached the band to the stool. The snap does not make this easy, it’s designed to be single-use! I had to use two forks of different sizes to pop it off my wrist, and a pair of vise grips to close it again.
A yellow and black hospital band reading “fall risk” dangles from the crossbar of a kitchen stool.

So this evening I foolishly fell off a stool while adjusting the Halloween lights and hurt my ankle, and I went to the ER for an x-ray, and right away they put this band on my wrist. Like, just to rub it in I guess?

It occurs to me that the 3-Cylinder Haiku Poematic, a piece I made about twenty years ago, is a lot more timely this year than it was then. More details at the Schwenck Wing, here: phrenopolis.com/art/technolo...

I’ve heard these spoken of in hushed tones over the years, but never seen one in real life. Tomato juice jello actually sounds fine to me, until you get to the end of the recipe where it says “serve with mayonnaise.” I’m truly surprised they didn’t include the mayo in the photo. #OurRichHeritage

For all I know this dish might be perfectly tasty, but when I look at the photo I can’t not imagine it served in a creepy vampire castle owned by Vincent Price.
An off-white fleshy cylinder sits partially submerged in a pot of pale brown liquid with capers. Atop the cylinder are reddish fleshy strips arranged to look like crude stitches, interspersed with what appear to be the eyeballs of two hapless creatures. It definitely looks like a prop from a horror movie where some of the castle guests are missing at dinner.

And this is the somewhat cringey text on the back of the “Our Rich Heritage” card.
Our Rich Heritage.
American cooking has a long and colorful tradition. When the Pilgrims first landed at Plymouth Rock in 1620, they found the Indians cooking with such foods as cranberries and pumpkins, corn and maple syrup - foods unknown to Europeans at the time, but now known and cherished throughout the world. At the first Thanksgiving, Pilgrims and Indians joined together to feast on wild turkey and venison.
Over the centuries, as the frontier expanded and the United States grew to be the greatest nation in the world, and I’m not kidding, this is what it says, and I just don’t think I can go on typing this out. You’ve heard the fun part already anyhow.

Omg Jill, “our rich heritage” is on there because it’s a section title, like “appetizers” or “salads.” There is a section header card, a little taller than the others so it sticks up. It looks like this. Note the prominent Liberty Bell and equally prominent tomato aspic.
A card titled “our rich heritage,” featuring a picture of several food items. There is a tomato aspic, a pot of stew filled dangerously to the brim, a cake or cheesecake with strawberries and mint leaves on top, a cruet of what might be vinegar or maple syrup, and a somber black teapot. These are presented in front of a needlepoint sampler in shades of brown, depicting something that might be alien plant life or a spilled box of electronics components. In the top right corner is an icon of the Liberty Bell.
