Most places I've lived (all coasts and in between red and blue states) it's middle to upper yt class that nod head down. Also southern/cowboy head tilt down. They view the head up as an invitation to fight. I had a man one time square up with me when I greeted him at the bar 🤣

After all that rain last week we saw some snow on the top of the mountains appear. It's mostly melted again but starting next week, we dip into the 30°s at night. First winter in a winter ish state in well over a decade. Kinda nervous 😅

I guess I'm post spamming tonight. But look at this ✨ABUNDANCE✨ I sowed native perennials and cover crops after mulching and composting half the property. Just finished before all the rain started. This is 1-2 weeks later!

Tip for flooding: Mulch your yard. It will act like a sponge and collect / slow release the rain water. If you have been in a drought, it's likely your topsoil has become hydrophobic and the rain is just going to run off/wash everything away. Mulch!

If climate is going to kill all their food we need to start drops (instead of throwing excess food in landfills) in the middle of the woods where we would prefer them to stay. This way we reduce waste and that area will act as a feeding ground for many wildlife. Predators can still hunt.
