Visiting family in Croton, NY and spotted what I’m pretty sure is the first Covid memorial I’ve seen. There should be more.

Plaque says “This grove is dedicated to the many residents and businesses of Croton-on-Hudson who were adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic that began in the year 2020. We are especially grateful for the courage demonstrated by health care providers and other essential workers during this challenging time. The Rotary Club of Croton-on-Hudson conceived of this space to commemorate the resilience our community demonstrated in overcoming the severe challenges presented by this disease. Those efforts exemplify the Rotary philosophy of “Service Above Self.”

[No Kings Rally] Nice turnout in DC.

A big sign showing Trump with the hair and jacket of his friend Kim Jong Un

A cheerful young woman holding a hand-lettered sign saying "The Only Good Orange Monarch Is A Butterfly" with several paper Monarch butterflies attached

Street view of a large crowd holding signs, the US Capitol building in the distance.
