Moved on but we do miss the control he gave us in games. I do want to see braver team selection from Unai. No point having exciting wingers if we're not using them & I want to see Pau & THB become our CB pairing. Jackson, Manzambi, McGinn & Gomes impressed but Buendia just an impact sub for me 🦁 UTV

Frustrated to concede such a poor second goal. Gomes, Manzambi & Jackson impressed but we're going to have to score at least 3 goals to win games with our current back four unfortunately 😕🦁 UTV

Hopefully Garnacho will get confidence with goals against Southampton & another tonight in the memorial friendly v Sevilla. His character's taken a very public battering which is a lot to take at a young age. His swagger masks his insecurity. But he has the ability, he just needs to apply it 🦁 UTV

This is the punishment i'd like to see but it WON'T happen!. The minimum should be relegation this season, a large points deduction for the start of 2027-28 in The Championship, a transfer embargo & a ban from domestic cups for a yet to be decided period of time. But sadly this also WON'T happen!!

100

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

The punishment MUST stop any club in the future from thinking they can just disregard the rules & fraudulently cook the books. Former Man City chairman & lifelong fan David Bernstein has publicly said that the club must be relegated & the whole board dismissed. That's from a man who loves the club.

punish them now & memories cannot be taken away. Fines mean NOTHING to Man City's owners!. I'm afraid the fans will be no different to people made redundant through no fault of their own. Relegation, a transfer embargo & a ban from domestic cups for a period of time would be a justified punishment.

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Just send them to the Blue Square North Division with a 5 year transfer embargo!!. They can build a side with all the youngsters they've poached from other clubs...🤪 In all seriousness they HAVE to get a points deduction that mathematically relegates them this season. Taking away trophies doesn't

CB pair worry me a lot!. I wanted Mbaye to start to hit them with pace on the break. Thankfully Kamara & Gomes are levels above Bogarde & Barkley, the latter bagged a goal but the pair of them were our weakest link. But the positives were THB, Ruggeri, Mbaye & a nice cameo by Manzambi. I'm not in the Tammy Abraham Fan Club but a couple of goals should lift his confidence 🦁 UTV

That's a pretty strong bench so the depth is there (Gomes is precautionary, Goretzka, Madjo & Torres back after the international break). There's only 3 players in this starting X1 who would be in what i believe will be our strongest side if/when everyone is fit 🤔🦁 UTV

we now have at our disposal? 🤔 We were too SAFE today, we take risks when playing out from the back but we're so risk averse when we're attacking. I do trust Unai to find the solution but the next few weeks may be a difficult watch as Villans. One last point: Tammy is simply not good enough! 🦁 UTV

150

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Despite our lack of goals I do think they will come. We have Mbaye, Alysson & Garnacho, all natural wingers who with Suzuki's distribution can be our biggest threat & provide service for Jackson, Madjo, Manzambi & McGinn etc. But do we need a change in formation to take advantage of the width & pace

120

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

the first-team squad as cover at LB. Mings has been a great servant for the club but his inclusion now worries me. Harwood-Bellis needs to be our RCB. I pray Pau has only tweaked his hamstring! 😬 Currently I don't think Kamara can play 2 games a week so we need Goretzka fit to be able to rotate him.

120

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

the positives. Buendia & Barkley are impact subs not starters. And Hemmings will probably be best coming off the bench. Jackson's discipline must improve, it's why he was hooked off by Unai at HT. Maatsen's injury means Ruggeri will be our only natural LB. We may need to bring Travis Patterson into

120

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Manzambi was brilliant for Freiburg in the Bundesliga & was one of the best young players at the WC. I've no doubt that Manzambi, Mbaye & Madjo will have a major impact this season. Suzuki's a top young GK & despite his head loss at Brighton Gomes will be a key player for us this season. Those are

120

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

If it is as bad as it looks that'll be Ruggeri as our only natural LB. Could mean Travis Patterson coming into the squad as LB cover

000

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

That's what is annoying me. I know he has a languid style but he's not putting himself about, lack of effort is unacceptable. Madjo takes his place as soon as he's fit. He may only be 17 but if you're good enough you're old enough. I look forward to seeing Madjo, Manzambi & Mbaye link up together 🦁

130

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I said a week ago that I don't think that Unai has the luxury of bedding new signings in before playing them. They need to be on the pitch learning on the job. They've got the. exuberance, guile & pace that we are lacking. They need to play

000

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Think he possibly thought he was losing his cool with the push off the ball. I certainly didn't see any sign of an injury when Jackson walked off at the end of the first half. If Tammy is trying to prove he deserves to stay in the squad he's doing a lousy job of showing it so far 🦁

120

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Totally agree. Great impact sub. Not a starter

010

TIM @thallium-72.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

He'll be ok alongside Gomes. And when Goretzka's fit we can rotate as i'm not convinced Kamara can play 2 games a week. If Pau is out injured i'd play Lindelof at LCB & Harwoob-Bellis at RCB, Tyrone's been a great servant to the club but neither he or Abraham are good enough, especially for PL games
