Sometimes I wonder if I have OCD because apparently people don't do this? At times I won't like something for the sole reason the numbers won't do the Thing. I've also learned that holding your breath in certain places and being unable to touch certain things isn't something people typically do

Wanting to give Riptide a bit of a redesign. I want to make them look more draconic, esp in the lower body, while still somewhat having my body shape. I also want to give him a more pronounced crocodile shaped snout, but keep the kemono style head Kinda rough idea for what I'm gonna do:

I think I'm gonna make mockups in Roblox so I can learn how to draw backgrounds and scenery. Depth and placement has always been a struggle for me World building nerd stuff and image description in alt text (there's way more but I didn't have enough characters)

Worldbuilding:

Biome:
An area called the Stratoflats. It consists of large, mostly flat, floating islands that hover high over parts of the ocean. It's climate is cold and arid, and high speed winds occur often. Some islands are made entirely of mountains. It's environment is similar to an Alpine steppe.

Notable Flora:
1. Windwood trees are large, edible stone fruit bearing trees with spade shaped leave. They are attached to small islands. The islands they attach to are broken off from other larger islands, usually mountains. The seeds get wedged into cracks, and as they grow, their roots grow in and around the rock. Eventually the roots break the tree away from the main island. Sometimes the island a tree is rooted to is large enough that another tree can grow on it, and break away from an already existing tree island.
2. All-seers are butterfly shaped flowers that grow on the grassy parts of the islands. When mature, the flower and seedpod attached below it break off and are carried by the wind. Like pokeweed, they are poisonous unless properly prepared. When prepared they can be eaten as a salad, or dried and used for tea

Notable Fauna
Leviatations are large whale-like creatures with 6 fins, a vertical tail, and a horn on their nose. they have stripes and spots going across their bodies. They float by using the hydrogen in their bodies. They are used for transporting goods across the islands, but are also hunted and eaten. Hunters cannot use fire enchanted weapons, as the hydrogen will cause a large explosion.

They're a real thing too, marimo moss balls! They're less maintenance than your average house plant. Some aquarists genuinely shouldn't be handling anything more sentient than algae. Nothing with a brain is gonna be happy in that 1 gallon sensory deprivation chamber you call an aquarium

Marimo moss balls, they're actually a type of algae, and are extremely low maintenance, the only thing they need is fresh water. No substrate required, very little sunlight, and can live in any sized glass container. You can keep them in a tiny mason jar if you want. If it can hold water, a moss ball can live in it
