About this whole AI thing. Thanks to Jenn Trickey running for Missouri House, I see how we are on the precipice of a pretty scary future. While SIRI, ALEXA and SPAM FILTERS exist & are low level AI, the door to the next level is more than just ajar. We •are• speeding on the way to AI Singularity.

Stages 3 & 4 are simple intelligence like searches, Roomba programming, “intelligent” appliances and “if/then” macro programming. We are at Stage 5 (maybe a foot inside 6) that offers ChatGPT, Claude, LLMs and some laboratory science digital experiments. Once our civilization reaches Maturity Stage 7, it will control anything digital with no ability for programming to control its further advancement or decision making. It will be totally self-aware.
