Great additional insights to Optimus Prime: Awakening!

He certainly had a bit more range in season 1. I always go back to MTMTE pt. 3 when he yells at Sideswipe as uncharacteristically angry. But there’s also the scene in Fire in the Sky where they say goodbye to Skyfire.

Finally, stay until the end. There's a post-credits scene. And after that, stay until after the Hasbro Entertainment logo for one final send off. 80/4 #Transformers #OptimusPrimeAwakening

Peter Cullen's final performance is one of his best. It follows Prime's emotional range much closer to what we saw in G1 than in other performances. Welker is phenomenal as always. There's several other voice cast members, all of which I believe are new to Transformers. 3/4

Overall, the story and animation are good-to-great. The story feels like something we would have gotten from late in the Marvel run. Action sequences are good, some are clearly inspired by early Energon Universe. It's a little violent but didn't feel gratuitous. 2/4 #Transformers

Tonight I got to watch an advance screener of Optimus Prime Awakening, the featurette that will run after the Fathom Events showing of Transformers: the Movie this weekend. In short: do not miss it! More thoughts without spoilers in the thread! 1/4

Yes, but I've never watched Buffy. But as SJP and Boreanis were joking about the show in their Emmy appearance tonight, I realized it is KDH.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Buffy Summers

I was today years old when I learned that the premise of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is essentially Kpop Demon Hunters.

Y’know, trawling old Usenet archives for 9/11 posts on Transformers groups from 25 years ago to draw attention to your “hey look at me 👀!” social media accounts is particularly ghoulish. (Shout out to my friend Mia for providing the perfect adjective.)

Random music question: When did Billy Corgan become the guy from the cover of Slayer’s “Diabolous in Musica?”

The Cullen family, who will have a Funeral for Peter a week from today have asked in place of flowers or gifts send a donation to Make-A-Wish or Gary Sinise Foundations. My youngest son was awarded a Make-A-Wish this last year. It's a Foundation near and dear to my heart.

Funny, I tried those. The green on stores securely in them but the orange one does not.

That’s a very broad question, you’ll need to be more specific.

Daphne Rod and Velma Rod, who wore it better? #Transformers #ScoobyDoo

1204

Mysterious Prime can store all 4 heads in vehicle mode, but Daphne needs to be located in the top slot to allow the shoulders to move into position. There's also underside storage for the weapons, but no place I can find to store either Fred's ascot or Daphne's scarf in either mode. #Transformers

And just because some things *can* be done, doesn't mean they *should* be done. 😀 #Transformers #ScoobyDoo

Here's Mysterious Prime with all 4 heads installed. There's no joint at the base, so there is no head turn on this figure. They do snap in rather satisfyingly though. #Transformers

0112

Neat feature on Mysterious Prime: all 4 heads store and can rotate into place.

In case you were wondering… Ultimate Welker mode can be achieved. (Sadly, the ascot does not sit well anywhere.) #Transformers #ScoobyDoo
