"Speculative hyperfiction" is what I was saying lately (the latter from a comment Silliman made actually). I honestly don't care anymore. There'll never be another Norton. Who cares what we're doing at this point? There's no one to publish it anyway. [shrugs]

Yeah. Seems that things have swung so far back to...less "experimental" I-driven poetry. It's unfortunate. And yeah - poetry has made a turn for the conservative vs. film. Sometimes I feel almost like I'm writing some sort of "genre" poetry or not even poetry at all maybe.

Do you mean substack link/excerpt (didn't think I had posted a longer section on here, but it's coming.) And you're dead on. Silliman is a huge influence, but as you seemed to have noticed: if you fed him a strict diet of Artaud, Ballard, Bataille, and a smattering of logic textbooks.

If you don't mind, I take that as a huge compliment. I very much intend a reader to both finish sentence and say, "wait, what?" but also to hit the period and realize they've just agreed to something bizarrely logical and possibly unethical. Truly appreciate the feedback.
