And this year I'm having lots of ants, last year there weren't, but curiously no aphids this year and last one, lots of them.

Thanks! The first link is 404, and all this is for the data USA-NPN already have, but I was speaking of formatting my own data to share it in a standard format, so anyother can use it, if they wanted to. But as of your answers I'm supposing there is not such a scientific standard. Still searching!

Yes in theory, I don't think so in practice. This blue is an anthocyanin so it won't last. Plus, usual method to dye is boiling the plant, and maybe the blue dissapears in that boiling... What I'd do? Crush the flowers in cold and bind the color with a soy milk treatment to the fiber #asatrial

This is Muscari neglectum, according to botanists. Also called 'ajo de cigüeña' [stork garlic] at my village (in spanish). This humble blueish flower has been traditionally used as a natural dye in some places in Italy to give colour to easter eggs, as Paolo Maria Guarrera reports. So I tried.

Blue easter eggs with common grape hyacinth (Muscari neglectum)
Once carnival is over, next big festivity in Europe is Easter. May you celebrate it or not, it's the time of some traditions still in use like making easter eggs. It's blue, I made this photo to see the colour contrast, 'm not faking it! Maybe your childhood is plenty or memories like that, but not mine, as in my culture, let's say, celebration was more about school holidays, visiting our grandparents at the village, or eating season sweets like…

The image shows the cover of the Internet Archive's Vanishing Culture report. On the left, the words "Vanishing Culture" are prominently displayed in bold, dark font against a neutral background. To the right, a set of cultural artifacts including a VHS tape, an open book, a film reel, a vinyl record, and a web link icon appear to disintegrate into pixels, symbolizing the disappearance of analog and digital media. Below these icons is a pixelated computer hand cursor pointing to the word "SAVE," emphasizing the need for preservation. The Internet Archive's logo is placed in the bottom-right corner.
