Ballots can be taken to drop boxes for certainty.

Now you see it, gulp, now you don’t. Why is this great blue heron smiling?

This pair were on our building this morning when I started my bicycle ride. 3 minutes later they were on their next hunt, a fish hunt. Successful, I hope.

Also big enough to push you over on your backside.

Been nuzzled a couple of times while wade fishing. Curious and friendly, they are.

✔️Because his presence was a major media focal point—and because he stood through the entire four-hour reading of the names—social media users on platforms like Bluesky created exaggerated or satirical memes framing him as the "only one" anchoring the solemn event, which is factually incorrect.

I want to join with those 1) who appreciate you for your service and integrity over the years 2) were hoping for you to win nomination and election 3) are ready for you to help a Democratic win this season and 4) look forward to seeing you serving in the future, replacing Senator Scott.

Thank you for sharing. Always a joy when one of my heroes regains her unencumbered joie de vivre.

This is the best song ever… “Prince's impromptu, fiery guitar solo at the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" became an instant classic. No one onstage knew what he was going to do.”

Osprey always fly with their prey facing forward. Look like WW2 torpedo bombers.

More fun. Osprey always fly with their prey facing forward. Look like WW2 torpedo bombers.

Sally McConnell was one of the major contributors to our environmental preservation group, WKPG (www.wkpreserve.com). She was an educator who also took on the personal mission of mentoring other educators in how to save and invest and helped many, as well as becoming a benefactor. We miss her.

M,SW is a great thought-provocative brand; Allison Gill is a good people name. Glad you have both in use.

Anhinga are my constant companions when fishing in our coastal waters. They love to hang out and take baitfish. When hunting, they dive and spear their prey, then surface and flip their necks so the prey go airborne and land in the anhinga beaks. Extraordinary water ballet moves.

Call your Senators and tell them to VOTE NO on this creep’s confirmation. ☎️ Capitol switchboard 202-224-3121 Todd Blanche is a scourge on our judicial system. He’s not just a threat to women and children, he’s a threat to our nation.

Retired and left Texas behind to grow old near some of our grandchildren. I miss Texas, but not its political regime of these times. Remember well the days of Barbara Jordan and Ann Richards. Praying for better times for all y’all in Texas. Meanwhile, being retired in Florida. More challenges.

Thank you! Amazing story. Glad to learn something new every day.

Would we get the THIRD of Americans who did not vote back into the mix if they thought their vote counted equally??

Saw the Texas Troubadours with my father and mother in Borger in early elementary school. Too young to know it but it was when Country Western was authentically Country Western. Western Swing still moves this old rocker.
