I will say subsequent part 2s (at least so far) are much more pleasant. There's a lot of QOL stuff to speed it up & easier to autopilot once you know the systems. Still way too much game.

I know the circumstances around the actual production of it but the chapter of the Silmarillion that is literally describing a map in prose and naming the various elves who live in each region feels like Tolkein doing a caricature of himself. Good bedtime reading though, knocked me right out.

she's gotta keep flooring it because she's the sole propulsion now, but she's gotta run into some walls on the way to encourage her to keep pouring on the gas. imo the end of ch3 was her locking in to sublimating any hesitation or desire for connection into violence and momentum till it's too late

The grossness factor of the AI art & the fact that it's primarily preying on more naïve people trying to get into the hobby... Easy to spot once you're looking out but the most efficient response is just to treat every apparent newcomer "commission artist" with suspicion, which is societal evil!
