I'm surprised at the amount of [voice acted] lewd references in Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia, for a game rated "suitable for persons aged 7 or older" in the EU 🫣

I loved Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter for many reasons, but the weird mustaches are not one of them.

I started a playthrough of the last mainline Ys game that I have yet to play and beat on my new YouTube account. It's a very chill recording, similar in vibes to my live streams on Twitch, but in a shorter form with minor editing. Please consider to like and subscribe! 🥰 youtu.be/WQz-lbhmNps

Picked up and unboxed my very first figurine today. Very satisfied with the quality and design! Now I just need a better place to showcase it. #Adol #YsVIII

Figurine of Adol from the Ys series. Specifically his design from Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.

Saaame. I see people's photos and I'm not even envious. But tbh I never got a console on release day except the GBA in 2001, so I'm used to waiting a bit.

My favourite kind of music is often tracks that evoke both sadness and beauty. Something nostalgic, or even introspective, that brings me somewhere peaceful and deeply emotional that I can hardly reach otherwise. Starting a thread that I'll occasionally add to...

Tetrium @tetrium.bsky.social · 23/05/2025

Just finished Tales of Arise~ The story got pretty good around the halfway point, but took a hit from a very poor pacing in the final 5 hrs. Apparently the late game development was affected by the pandemic, so that's too bad because otherwise it was a decent game... Probably won't play the DLC

Finished Terranigma this week... Honestly one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I can understand why many people call it the Chrono Trigger of Europe! It's a shame it never released in North America...

GG! Finished Golden Sun: The Lost Age tonight! I had played most of it in 2003 but had never finished. There were ups and downs, but mostly ups in the last third of the game. Got a tad emotional at the ending 🥲

I also recently played it and had a great time. It was exactly what I expected it to be, with the retro voice acting and fantastic music. The final boss was cool too!

It's a bit odd that despite appearing in ten games, we learn very little about Adol Christin. Granted, I still haven't played Ys 9 or 10, but these few lines in the Turbografx CD version of Ys 3 say more about his character than several entries put together. #retrogaming #falcom

Adol: "Dogi... I've never felt this helpless in all my life."

Adol: "If I don't go, then for the rest of my life I will think I failed."

Adol: "Without travel and adventure, my life is empty."

Narrator:
"In fact, it is the precise desire to seek out new adventure and triumph which keeps our hearts young and our spirits alive."
