Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I'm more confused than not. What you shows that he may of flirted but then stopped immediately once she said her age (unless I missed something) and secondly, that does not explain why the team continues to post on other platforms but not here. Its not as if he personally handles the posting 150
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 07/10/2026You post regularly here. Are you able to ask why @weratedogs never posts? 1120
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I was so close to not reading this one as it was yet another "teaching kids in a wizarding school" but guess what? It actually cared about the "teaching" part, and the role of teachers. A great read. 030
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Oh no! You might not be wrong, the joy of the Doctor is that they are chameleons and we are not supposed to like all of them. But I am glad you will revisit. 020
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Capaldi is supremely talented angry actor (his rants on Thck of It are pure gold)so the role plays to his strengths. It all comes to a head in my favorite episode Heaven Sent (Series 9, Episode 11). 140
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I agree with Eric, In the end I think Capaldi is emerging as my favorite Doctor (and I still remember the end of Tom Baker as a child). He seemed to actually care for the character rather than ham it up 1200
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 04/10/2026If you do make it to the outer Hebrides (and I wish you can as it is such a beautiful place) then after visiting I would strongly recommend John of John, a book of aching beauty and sadness 030
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 04/10/2026just finished The Everlasting. I can't disagree it winning the Hugo but personally I enjoyed A Drop of Corruption, The Incandescent and Shroud more 021
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Oh no. I started reading the Lewis Trilogy when I first went to Harris and loved them. I did buy the Black Loch but not yet read. I do not think he got the credit he should have amongst Scottish Noir writers 120
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I do enjoy your articles but i hope this is one sentence: Anyone playing the Dodgers 020
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 29/09/2026They do want her back but scheduling clashed with the success of Lanterns. Corden is a complete pillock but his one significant contribution was the epic Chicken Bunha rant www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssv-...youtube.comSmithy's Indian takeaway - Gavin and Stacey - BBCYouTube video by BBC Studios 001
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Thoughts? I love the series and still fundamentally enjoyed this but this really felt like a part 1 book that could be monetized and keep the fans happy. And yes, I was happy, but there was a feel of unfinished. 210
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 27/09/2026On my list. I loved his previous ones - similar in location but all slightly varying point of views - all very gripping 010
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 23/09/2026god no. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy DCC (In audio format) a lot but it is pure popcorn escapism, gratuitous violence and guilty pleasure. Pratchett (and I have only ready the Moist tryptic and the first two of "Guards") has much more substantial quality in terms of wit, intelligence. Enjoy ! 010
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 22/09/2026That Compaq was MY first ! wrote my Master dissertation on it - Definition of a "Luggable"... My first was Dad buying himself a Tandy TRS-80... 110
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Yes. Hi Cicero series I think put him on the map and was excellent, but Harris has shown himself adept at all periods - Conclave was good fun but I also really enjoyed Oblivion which covers a very particular time of history with Civil War (English) escapees to the American colonies 000
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I loved the TV series and then the book. Strong recommendation: Robert Harris has just published Agrippa and it is excellent 120
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 20/09/2026A clanger this week: The Secret book of Elizabeth Barton. And had hopes for the historical part but were overwhelmed by the gushy romantic slop 011
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I read the books before watching the series and was so worried because only once in a blue moon is it not the case that "the book is better than the film" But in this case Oldman and the team makes the TV just as good. I was so happy 011
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 17/09/2026My Bad - I thought you might be along the Pacific and both migrate this time of year to the warmer water of Mexico to give birth. Always beautiful 000
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Somewhere along Highway 1? If yes it could also be a Grey whale making its way to Baia Magdalena to give birth. If you find the time do go there in January/February you see them so close it is life changing 110
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I figured as much as I wrote that, but I wasn't a huge cabinet player as I still gravitated to the pinball machines. 000
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 13/09/2026And trust me that The Blade itself is the worst of the trilogy. But if you love the Abercrombie’s characterization (i.e. Glotka) then you are in for a trip for the rest of the series. Few authors do conflicted moral turpitude as he does 020
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Just finished Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. I was concerned it was going to be a book about friendship, love, loss and relationships (not my immediate “go-to”) but discovered it was a damn good book about friendship , love, loss and relationships…Not at all pretentious or self absorbed. 022
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 12/09/2026I am sure AI will eventually figure out what asparagus stem to pick as good as the human, but I also know, just like the farmer did not benefit from genetically modified seeds, they will not benefit from an AI machine substituting the human labor that paid for school, clothes and homes. 010
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Yes, but you are assuming that the world all works in an office. AI will build more efficient HVAC but it will not install it, AI might create more genetically modified crops but it will not reap the crops. AI will decimate "office" jobs and wonder if the kids of tomorrow will be happy grave diggers 230
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Grave digging?, HVAC installation?, Landscaping? Factory assembling, Truck Driver, Courier deliverer? 210
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 09/09/2026A Hellenist that has never heard of Lysistrata??? 000
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 06/09/2026This week it is Agrippa and I am in renewed admiration of Robert Harris’ ability as an author. 041
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 03/09/2026I can move back to Safari from Brave, however for work we are too integrated into Chrome. Do you know what it is like with Chrome on a Mac? 100
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 03/09/2026i would almost be ok with Apple passwords however I use Chrome for work so that wont work, Probably Bitwarden 030
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Listened this morning to him on a podcast about Agrippa podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/rober… Loved his other books so will order this onepodcasts.apple.comRobert Harris on Roman General AgrippaPodcast Episode · The Ancients · August 30 · 57m 120
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Finished and still glowing from John of John by Douglas Stuart. Remarkable how a book with a very thin plot except the characters and the relationships (and the landscape) can drive me back and back again to finish it. 011
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Having enjoyed her Historical fiction ones I had higher hopes for her first foray into fantasy. But I found it a bit YAish, and by that i mean that the plot and motives are very clear and black and white. So it ends up being a competently written, albeit full of rather cliché'd characters. 110
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 29/08/2026I have fallen in love with this series because even though you can consider the Ana/Din a trope is is a wonderfully executed characterization with Ana’s rant and quasi bestiality playing off Din’s simplicity. I love that the world building is not interfering with the plot . The 3rd book is the best 010
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Quick question. When I reopen the app should my place remain where I was or does it download the newest skeets and throw me to the top? 200
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 29/08/2026It actually sort of worked. I equally use Mac,iPad and iPhone so if syncing works you have yourself a client even if I do not need the pro features 110
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I remember that commercial kitchen that popped up a few years ago on Diamond and 24th. Did something like that sparked the idea of Automatic Noodle? I loved the book and then double loved it as the Folio/Noe Valley book store is called out. 130
Testaroscia @testaroscia.bsky.social · 17/08/2026You are right, you are right… I also drink exclusively Yorkshire (except when feeling Lapsang fancy) but I m also so lazy . I pour the milk and carry everything to my desk and let it steep there. Mea culpa 000
