Happy #CanadianThanksgiving to my many wonderful Canadian pals! I’m told y’all don’t have a parade, so I’m throwing one in your honor! And look! Two distinguished Canadian cartoon characters are even included! :D @picpak.bsky.social @shayleerobson.bsky.social @lollipopcomics.bsky.social

Leaves haven't properly started falling yet, but I've drawn this in anticipation. #colour_collective #CCNevadaBeige #greyhound #autumnleaves #illustration

An illustration of a pile of autumn leaves, out of which a blue and white greyhound dog has emerged to just below the shoulders. Its tongue lolls out in a happy smile and there is a brown leaf on its head, as further leaves fall all around.

I drew a Wedgwood greyhound recently, so it only stands to reason to come up with a Delft one to join it. #colour_collective #CCDelftBlue #greyhound #greyhounds #illustration

Happy #NationalBlackDogDay! Doggos with black fur are just as wonderful and in need of loving homes as their lighter-furred counterparts, but are less likely to be adopted. #BlackDogDay #adoptdontshop #greyhound #blackgreyhound

An illustration of the sleek, pointy and aerodynamic head of a black greyhound dog. It is looking to the right, but giving you, the viewer, some bombastic side eye. As you probably deserve.

I drew something similar to this for one of the first #colour_collective weeks I participated in almost 11 years ago. I feel almost as vintage as this. #CCFollyRed #illustration #vintage #1920sfashion

The #colour_collective colour Caramel just made me think of food, so I decided to recolour this pic inspired by Bake Off 2025 contestant Lesley's idea of the perfect (incredibly calorific) dessert. #CCCaramel #applepie #icecream #foodillustration

A cartoon illustration of a plate holding a slice of apple pie. The pie is topped with custard which runs off it and forms a pool on the plate. Above it are stacked two scoops of ice cream, the bottom one vanilla and the one above chocolate. Topping this pile of indulgence is a generous dollop of clotted cream, which is slowly oozing its way down.

😂 This was actually the perfect coffee shop colour!

Tessa Cheung @tessacheung.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

Probably! But when I worked in retail pharmacy, sometimes Christmas displays would start arriving for the back shop (storage) in August. It felt very odd

Didn't stray much from the colour name for inspiration for this week's #colour_collective. #CCPaleWedgwood #wedgwood #greyhound #illustration

An illustration of a blue Wedgwood Jasperware-style dish, decorated with white sprigs in the characteristic fashion. The rim of the plate has a repeat pattern of leafy plant buds running around it, whilst in the centre is the figure of a greyhound dog shown side-on. It is peering behind it, with its tongue hanging out.

An extended version of my memory from we adopted our Long Doggo, Leela, from Dunrunnin Rehoming Kennels 🐾Featuring Jackie, a very special lil' lady. #greyhounds #greyhoundlove #rescuegreyhound #dogillustration #animatic

So sorry to hear about your mother, and hope that her remaining time is as peaceful and painless as possible 💛 Your illustration is a beautiful tribute.

Another memory from when we adopted Leela 🐾 Before we adopted Leela, we met some other potential adoptees. One of them was Jackie, a sweet, petite girl with a very cute face. She was also totally jacked. #colour_collective #CCAmethyst #greyhound #rescuegreyhound #dogillustration

A cartoony illustration of a woman with black hair and brown glasses in a plum down jacket, blue jeans and brown boots walking a petite blue and white greyhound. The greyhound is very determinedly walking to the right, straining against the lead with a steep lean. The woman has a slight panicked look and has her heels dug into the ground, but is fighting a losing battle as she is being dragged along and creates a furrow in the dirt.

I was in Norway a few weeks ago, and got to see the midnight sun for the first time. It's very odd to never see the sun set, but it's a beautiful sight. #colour_collective #CCAmbreDeBirmanie #midnightsun #illustration #digitalillustration

An illustration of a "sunset", except it's the midnight sun as seen in the Arctic circle in Norway and it won't actually set. The sun kisses the horizon over the sea of a fjord. In the foreground is a white lighthouse with brick red roof and two thick black bands across the main white body. It sits on a grassy cliffside, illuminated with orange light.

To make others feel better in this heatwave QRP with your cold, wintery, snowy art or photos. #Art #KidLitArt #IfYouSeeThis #ArtShare #QRP #illustration (I don't know if it's helping me, though! 😅)

An illustration of a very rotund yeti-like creature, strolling down a snow bank as snowfall blows diagonally at its back. It has an emerald green face, hands and feet poking out from its fuzzy white fur, a big smile with pointy canine teeth visible and blissful closed eyes. On its back is a much smaller beast which looks very similar, but with an icy blue face, hands and feet. It is smiling broadly and waving at the viewer.

Mercorg makes a new fuzzy friend with a fondness for hand holding. #CCFernGreen #corgi #seaotter #mermay #illustration

An illustration of a mercorg - a Pembroke Welsh corgi dog with a green, scaly fish tail - floating on its back on the water. It is holding hands, or paws rather, with a sea otter which is also floating on its back. The sea otter is wrapped in seaweed to stop it from drifting off. Both have a serene expression.
