I think the state the back four are now in speaks volumes. They’ve gone from competent, decent defenders to looking shit scared every time the ball is anywhere near them. They are getting zero protection & it shows, they look shot.

It’s not what overseas fans or American owners want. They prefer 4 or 5 so called big teams that fans from around the world can latch on to, look at the NFL for what they want to achieve imo. I’ve no doubt City will get punished & quite rightly but the one thing this seems to have done is open the eyes of fans at a number of clubs who previously had little interest. Even SKY & TNT are openly questioning the rules which is a major shift.

The speed in which Arsenal & especially Liverpool fans have started popping up demanding titles has shown their real agenda. It’s the rules they wrote & Richard Masters implemented that need ripping up, I think this whole episode is shining a light on that.

Personally I found it quite funny & despite them breaking the rules, I can’t help thinking sticking it up to the protected clubs has been long overdue. Nope, I said rip up the rules & start again. The current rules benefit 4 or 5 clubs & lock others out. If you make it more of a level playing field teams won’t need to do what City are alleged to have done. The more competitive the league the better the spectacle surely?

Murphy (who I’m not really a fan of) getting less than MFP & Bamba? He put in at least 2 deliveries into the box just begging to be finished. MFP pressed & chased but offered little else, he’s clearly not a striker but fair play for the graft. Hall, Steur, Barnes & Willock all did very well imo.
