I support Global Sanctuary for Elephants & Elephant Sanctuary Brazil. And I advocate for animals of all kinds, including endangered humans.

Global Sanctuary for Elephants @globalelephants will be making a BIG announcement on Giving Tuesday! What will it be? I don't know but I'm sure it will be something wonderful for captive elephants.

A photograph of four elephants at Elephant Sanctuary Brazil, browsing on hay and green grass with a colorful cloudy sky in the background. Text says: "Save the Date 12.03.24 GIVING TUESDAY The Big Reveal."

Baby is a lone elephant living in a closed zoo in Brazil. She has an active court case, with a real chance of transfer to @globalelephants.bsky.social Elephant Sanctuary Brazil. Judges there often look to public opinion, so we can help by signing this petition: www.change.org/p/liberdade-...

Close up image of an elephant's face. Black text: "Liberdade para Baby" [Freedom for Baby} and the logos of Principe Animal and Sanctuario de Eelefantes Brasil.

And let’s not forget elder care and child care, already struggling to meet adequate staffing levels. www.niskanencenter.org/immigration-....

Make it make sense: City of Edmonton took the risk of transporting elephant #Lucy to Calgary zoo in 1986 for breeding, but won't attempt to move her to a sanctuary for retirement now despite saying she is in better health. And so she lives out the long winters in a glass cage. #TakeActionForLucy

Elephant Lucy stands in a small indoor enclosure with a glass wall in front of her and trees painted on the wall behind her. A human adult and child are looking at her.
