5. That ending where Mika blows up I didn't draw any impact frames there yet... at least for me.. somehow I see it when the animation is played. It's not intended but it's super cool and i want to replicate that effect down the line. The human eye sure is easy to trick

3. SLOPPEY Eating can be gross. (So does throwing up wax made of light.) Excess salivation is also a visual shorthand for hunger. The more "meol" she eats, the more ravenous the gesture. The more she eats, the hungrier she gets...

This is extended to a small degree on the Lightwardens. Eg. Storge becomes a pie with feather filling. Lightwardens are served on silver platters. The scions are served on red dishes with gold trims - resembling pools of blood. After all, red and yellow are the colors of hunger!

2. Scion Platters Here's the scrolling asset for all the scions as "food" similar to the Lightwardens! The "food" should only hint at gore, no parts of the face nor entrails. Rather it has parts repulsive to eat: hair, fingers, ears, inorganic materials. Pixelation does wonders for horror.

1. The meol mountain Sometimes less is more! By making the mountains of meol a flat color, the background initially resembled beige wallpaper. Now that I think 'bout it this is almost framed like a mukbang video, eating while surrounded by comically excessive amounts of food.

There IS some gold on the outfit, ie the floral embroidery on the vest - but you're right that the pants are brightly golden in comparison I picked it bc 1. I liked the pattern and 2. The shade of black matches the innermost shirt That said I'll play around with a few options! Ty for feedback :D

I know the parallels or lack there of is for storytelling, you're not supposed to know Ardbert is your reflection, and inversely you cant draw a connection across worlds without them look literally alike. That said I am considering the story ramifications if I make Lamitt Mika's shard instead...

Yet for instances where the game tries to pull a "look this person reminds you of this other person in another world! Maybe they're shards of each other!" it IS of people who look or act alike. I wonder how many unnotable NPCs we have encountered that are secretly shards of our comrades

today i find out that arcane circle is in fact not a free delayed enshroud button every 2 minutes but a damage buff that benefits the rest of the party and the enshroud is just a bonus to fit into that window
