Yes, you’ll be able to continue using it. Unless you’re using Obtainium, you will have to update manually though.

These are the requirements to become part of the programmes on the main instance - federation is still being discussed and planned (check out Fluxer Developers to be part of the discussion!)

What’s the point? This feels like the Reddit avatars you can create - but Reddit is a social media app and GitHub isn’t.

Thank you for curating these analytics! Feels like the amount of promotional/non-notable items created on Wikidata is incredibly high compared to other Wikipedia projects. I genuinely hope that some of the proposed WD:N policy changes are implemented to make deletion of promotional items clear-cut.

Do you like bumping your music a little loud? Cops are searching Flock Safety ALPR data to investigate noise complaints. The creeping use cases keep getting more absurd. www.eff.org/deeplinks/2...

WhatsApp is making features paid and then we’ve got Signal out here adding useful anti-phishing features 🔥

Same. I’ve managed to convince a few group chats to move, but some people refuse to change what they are familiar with.

All of the Wikinews projects have been closed by the Wikimedia Foundation. It’s unfortunate this happened, but most projects were dead and faced vandalism, spam and abuse. It was a pleasure to support the Wikinews projects while they were around!

The headlines always make it sound like Signal is compromised and it always seems to come down to phishing.

I'd definitely report the scam message so platform staff can take a look.

You could simply block them so they can no longer contact you. If the other user is violating the Fluxer ToS, you can report their message too.

This is a known bug that should be fixed in the refactored codebase.

From the Fluxer Developers community: We are hoping to get it to visionaries within the next week or two to start testing, but a wider opening won't happen till a few weeks after v2 drops. Much of the api in the client will depend on v2, so giving it out now would mean its broken for 99% of users

ternera @ternera.org · 14/04/2026
The HQ community is currently read-only due to abuse and to work on some internal improvements. There isn't an ETA for when it will be back, but it shouldn't take too long!

The API is unstable at the moment but the devs are working to get things fixed. It wasn't expected that Fluxer would gain so many members on launch, so the platform wasn't prepared.
