I somehow ended up with covid. 😭 I'm on the mend, and I feel no guilt for taking my earned sick time to rest. Luckily my job doesn't make me feel bad for doing so, but it's a common theme in the US.

At the dogs' bi-annual vet visits on Tuesday I learned that Pete now has a heart murmur too. By some good dog juju I was able to get him in for an echocardiogram today - please cross all paws and fingers that it's mild. He has a needed dental soon so we're doing this now to ensure it's safe.

Funeral shoes ✔️ I had purple converse in highschool and college but had to retire them. Then they didn't have the right purple for years and finally they did, right as I was thinking I wanted some for my auntie's funeral. Purple was both of our favorite color. Here's to you, you nut!
