We don’t really post on here but our debut album is out and it’s good! If you like post-hardcore or emo give it a rip! A song title is an At the Drive-in reference trust me!

Hi, we’re an autistic and queer band and I just want to say Perpetuating the use of slurs as insults against the evil people you don’t like makes you a bigot and it’s loser behavior Using those words only reminds people like us our existence is still an insult to you

What an album you guys slept on for years and then finally listened to and realized you made a big mistake? Few months ago I finally listened to Thrice’s Artist in the Ambulance and I gotta say… Big regret to not listen sooner

Doing death rituals in the studio because every good emo album needs a few human sacrifices. Every omelette breaks a few eggs ya know?

I drink black coffee every day and Kieff had the monster energy wall so I think we might be caffeine emo

Cool part about fucking up the unreleased songs is that no one really knows how bad we fuck them up

We need an evil version of bandcamp Friday where you can beat the shit out of bands you don’t like and take their money for 24 hours. Kinda like a mini-purge

I only know like two albums all 3 of us like and one of them is Boston’s self titled More Than Feeling, Long Time, Peace of Mind I mean undeniable stuff here

The only way we would play warped is if we get A LOT of money for it or abusers aren’t headliners (both highly unlikely)

My philosophy with stage banter is that if we keep saying a bit between each song one will eventually work

Two fests!!! We’re a fest band now. One in March and one in April. So many sick bands on here!! If you don’t come to one of these I’ll get really sad and maybe blow up and you don’t want to see me explode into a bunch of Joe smithereens do you??? 🫨

The tricky thing about Tequila is that my fav bands all time are like Hail The Sun, Rise Against, Jimmy Eat World, At The Drive-In, but we don’t sound like any of them Guy who loves post-hardcore and all genres amorphous in nature makes weird songs with a lot of energy

020

Tequila Mockingbird @tequilamockingmi.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

Yeah I’ll keep it honest with you guys I don’t know what bands to compare us to for LP1 and that makes me very happy

If there is ANY TIME to voice vocal support for trans people it’s now. State sanctioned human trafficking of trans women in prison is a reality and should deeply disgust you If you care about the trans people in your lives you need to fucking speak up and show love

Tequila Mockingbird @tequilamockingmi.bsky.social · 26/01/2025

Trans siblings, you are loved! Our community will always be a place for you to smile and express yourself freely in the face of an oppressive regime that wants to take away your happiness

Today I am shouting out the incredibly talented, Wisconsin post-hardcore band @gardenhomewi.bsky.social Immaculate higher pitched screams, crunchy, loud guitars, and a punchy rhythm section create one of the most underrated bands currently playing. This is in my wheelhouse and it’s done SO well!

Today I’m shouting out Cali sweethearts @arentweamphibians.bsky.social They’ve quickly amassed a bunch of great songs over eps, splits, and singles. They wear their influences on their sleeve and mix lovable attributes from 4th wave and modern day noodley, riffy goodness! Here’s a vid of them…

Today I’m shouting out the incredibly talented @paletteknife.bsky.social Earnest, nerdy lyrics with extremely tight, energetic instrumentation and fantastic hooks. NG+ is one of the best emo albums of the decade and their other material is superb Here’s a vid of me watching them in a backyard
