I love that Ken Sugimori drew one of his classic Chunkachus again for the 30th Anniversary set

Two different Pokemon TCG cards of Pikachu, illustrated by the same artist nearly 30 years apart. Both Pikachu are chunky.

I've been logging a handful of cards every day with a Pokemon TCG app and *hello????* Of course it's a favorite Pokemon, too, so I'm far less willing to part with it! 😭

I also got two G'waha and some beautiful alt art cards for a combined total of less than $2 USD.

Two variations of G'raha Tia (FFXIV) MTG cards.

Two MTG alt art cards of Omega (FFXIV) and Locke (FFVI).

Soken, watching Joker (2019): Wow, Joker's life sucks. But Yotsuyu, my favorite character from the hit MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, had an even suckier life.

A cartoon style signature done by Soken Masayoshi. Below it, the text reads:

Masayoshi Soken
Sound Director and Composer

Main Job in Spirit
Party Maker

Favorite NPC
・Lyna: Knowing her personality, Lyna's lines left this old man in tears.
・Yotsuyu: When I watched the Joker movie, I was like, "Arthur had it rough, but Yotsuyu had it even worse, you know? The level of tragedy just doesn't compare!"

Taobao sellers include so many free goodies, too! This is what I got once. The first image was what I ordered, while the second is all freebies.

Photograph of FFXIV fan merch from Taobao, including: a pair of ARR Titan earrings, an Estinien plush toy, an acrylic Estinien standee, an acrylic Zenos standee, a "squape" keychain, and an embroidered Haurchefant patch.

Photograph of free goodies that were included in a Taobao order, such as: a mini print of Athena, a mini print of Ryne and Gaia, a lenticular Gold Saucer Sabotender bookmark, Chiikawa themed stickers of Emet-Selch and G'raha, a small wooden standee of the previously shown Estinien plush toy, a Shiva!Ryne sticker, and sticker sheets of various FFXIV characters.

Genshin Impact acrylic standee in the grandmacore figurines section at the discount store is an apt reflection of the human desire to collect knick knacks and that anime figures are our generational Precious Memories

Acrylic standee of a Genshin Impact character.

The mentioned standee amidst things your grandma probably collected.

I'm thinking about 1.0 Estinien's face tonight. It's almost like a strange in-between of ARR-HW Estinien and post-3.3 Estinien, as far as facial features go. 🤔 Because he has fuller features like ARR-HW yet has he also current Estinien's more angular shapes and slightly thinner lips.

Twitter screenshot from user @allofeos. The post text reads:

It's still kinda weird/interesting because he had a different one in the 1.0 stuff too (slapped him in a model viewer and toggled the helmet visor off)

A rare screenshot of Estinien's face from Final Fantasy XIV 1.0, aka before the game was rebooted with A Realm Reborn.

The aforementioned 1.0 Estinien screenshots alongside comparison screenshots of Estinien's face from A Realm Reborn to Heavensward and Estinien's face since patch 3.3, Revenge of the Horde.

Estinien redraw sketch for a warmup! It's fun to see how my approach to drawing him has changed. #ffxivart #Estinien

Two digital sketches of Estinien, drawn three years apart from one another. Both of them have the Elezen in his casual summer indigo top with his hands on his hips.

Renders of Aymeric, Haurchefant, Estinien, and Ysayle.

I miss playing for my pathetic wife guy from Tailfeather, R'ansalr. #woltalk

A face 4 male Miqo'te with black-blue hair, green eyes, red eyeshadow, and red facial markings. Of course he's sporting the Styled for Hire PVP hairstyle. It's basically made for face 4 cat boys.

The same aforementioned face 4 Miqo'te. This time he's without glasses and wearing Diadochos maiming gear.

To anyone curious, the Hydaelyn Cafe (China's FFXIV cafe) also offers a take on tacos. They're still relatively inauthentic but they at least tried!

Estinien blames the Nidhogg aether for his new insufferable libido and dragons (which canonically asexually reproduce) are just like

Edit of the "True Power" comic meme. It's retitled "Horny Power" and the old master is replaced with Vrtra while the martial student is Estinien.

Estinien: Uaaaaaagghhhhhhhh! I can feel the sex drive overflowing! Vrtra! What is this...

Vrtra: I don't know... That's scary...
