iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I'm finally back at the gym. Trying to lead a healthier lifestyle. I'm much weaker than before since I haven't exercised even once in two months, but I've still got a surprising amount of stamina (I always finish resistance training with a 10 minute run of 1.6 to 1.7km).

One feature itchio would benefit from is the ability to exclude tags. You CAN actually exclude tags by adding for example "?exclude=tg.horror" at the end of the URL but the UI doesn't show you can do this. The fact that you can't do this on the UI is a genuine accessibility issue.

happy lesbian day, big shoutout to my girl who's most definitely isn't a closeted lesbian or anything bc wouldn't that be something

Sara Grace, the ponytailed girl, sweating bullets as she stutters, "H-How about a g-girlfriend?"

Sara Grace, the ponytailed girl, averts her glance from the camera. The textbox reads, "She cast a side glance over at Ares who's sipping her OJ without a care in the world."

Sara Grace, the ponytailed girl, again sweating bullets and looking off to say, "B-But, you know, Arielle... Next year, wouldn't it be crazy if we ended up as roommat--"

Sara Grace, the ponytailed girl, laughs as she proudly states, "Be you absolute cute self as always, Arielle! Ohohoho, buh bye!"

Since I finished Clair Obscur, I keep trying JRPGs but they all just make me boot up Clair Obscur again. I genuinely can't find any game that gives me the same feeling that game gives me.

The amount of times people have refused to go to vegetarian or vegan places with me because they'd "have nothing to eat"/think they'd leave hungry or something but would happily take me somewhere where all I can order is a side salad lmao.

tenshideve @tenshideve.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Why are all the stupid otome/BL discourse analogies always "it's like walking into a steak restaurant and asking for a vegan option"?? It's the meat eaters who fucking do this to plant-based restaurants. 😭😭 Why would a vegan even go to a steak restaurant? Use your brain.

No problem! Aloo phulkopir dalna (potato and cauliflower curry) is like my favourite food ever!

tenshideve @tenshideve.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Can you eat Indian or does that tend to upset your stomach too? Indian is my go-to, most Indian restaurants will have a decent selection of veggie options instead of just like 2 things.

Shippable game! Shippable game! Shippable game!

I think... I've finished writing Levi's route. Holy shit.

180

I still get some even though my games explicitly don't have self inserting mechanisms. So my answer is always "if the text in the game itself doesn't contradict it, you are free to interpret it as you wish." I personally don't like "Word of God" ie. the author adding canon outside of the text.

011

I see them for other games where I'm part of the team and the game is made for self inserters (eg. Knee Deep!).

tenshideve @tenshideve.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Yeah and they even connect all your socials and stuff? All for free. It's so nice! Also, being added on Koilog!! It felt extra special because even fewer people actively monitor joseimuke releases.

That too! Immediate submission or a gal that just accepts the situation takes away the sauce.

I updated my ita bag. Had lunch with Alice at long last! The Mont Blanc was really nice.

071

(I'm referring to male yandere in this post.) When I think about it, I can kind of see why "guy who is in love with you to the point of mental sickness" appeals to self inserters. But I do love my established protagonists.

040

tenshideve @tenshideve.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Self inserting is so closely coupled with indie yandere games nowadays that I'm kind of scared to make a game without the mechanism to do so.
